When I first downloaded bracelet book I got annoyed when someone declined my pattern (especially krazy knots) but after a few months I realise that you need them or it would be a very chaotic place :)

Lol don't worry about haters regarding braceletbook. People always complain but don't realize that you guys don't do it to be annoying or mean, it's to keep the site clean and organized. It would be soooo cluttered otherwise. Thanks for your hard work, Alex!

i think moderators are great they make sure that braceletbook is filled with quality patterns...but i got a pattern declined because it was "too simple." at first i was fine with it... yk it was completely understandable i had no problem with it, but than i checked out the moderator's profile (the one that declined my pattern) and saw that they had created a pattern themselves that was extremely simple it was LITERALLY less than 10 pixel alpha pattern. mine was very complex in comparison. obviously there is a clear bias to letting the moderators get away with simple patterns. i'm fine with getting my pattern declined because it's simple but at least have the same rules apply for everyone. i just found it very annoying

Declining patterns isn't what annoys me. Declining and deleting comments is what bothers me. Esp how you all delete "acab" comments but leave up comments from bigots.

Alex's Innovations lmfao, you know that’s not what I meant or you misunderstand. There should be a way for mods to turn off commenting or disallow certain patterns from getting comments if they’re political in nature. Either way, deleting acab comments but leaving pro police comments up sends a hypocritical message to the users of the site.

people wanted to get rid of moderators in anger of acab comments being deleted but pro cop ones get accepted. if you declined all political content, it would be a different story. personally i don’t think any political stuff should be on a platform that’s literally meant for people who make friendship bracelets. it was also kinda childish of you to get so personal about people wanting moderators deleted, it’s a bracelet making website job where you press decline or accept, it’s not that deep. telling people to just not use the site if they want moderators removed kinda sounds like a kid whining. anyways, idk if you’ll read this but this is just constructive criticism. (also no, i was not one of the people who want moderators removed)

kate lohman no, there is a section for moderating in the app, but the phone is so small it’s very hard to see everything clearly. but if you become a moderator and find that your phone works better, let me know!! :)
