The Maus is not a sugar beet harvester. It is a cleaner loader, the beet are already harvested and put in a clamp ready for the Maus to load them onto a lorry.

#3 That's not why the bales are wrapped. The bales are wrapped to ferment to make silage bales. Silage is used in different food mixtures for farm animals

It also doesn't cut the grass and it doesn't wrap them in fabric...🤦♂

Oh, and it doesn't have an electric motor, it's powered by the tractor's PTO 😅

I don't quite understand? Can you explain more clearly?
@BlackPhoenix0872 ай бұрын
@@PathtoEnlightenment91 so they use netting or twine when wrapping the bale to keep the hay(dried grass) together. When it's wrapped in plastic wrapping, it's fresh cut grass(still wet). The plastic wrapping is to seal in the moisture causing the grass to ferment into silage. The silage is then used to mix with other things to create total mixed rations(TMR) for cows to eat.

Turf is a mugs game. Sounds like a really good easy idea to the customer, but it is fraught with pitfalls. Buy soil and seed and make your own lawn, and make it cheap and make it yourself. Im 65 and I have sown nearly half an acre over the past 2 years. You dont have to do it in a day 2/4 barrowloads per day and over a week you will cover more than you imagine. Make sure the seed (UK) is down just before or during the first week in October which is when the dew normally starts, thats the key. Within 3 weeks you can be admiring your proto lawn !

The automation and precision of these machines are fascinating! I’m curious about how they impact labor needs in agriculture Do these modern machines reduce the demand for manual labor, and if so, how does that affect the job market for farmworkers?

The bales are wrapped to undergo fermentation, creating silage-an essential ingredient in various feed mixtures for farm animals.

1. is not a beet harvester is an machine to pick up already harvested beets wich usually get harvested and put on the site of the field. 2. This baler can do hay bales but what you are showing and talking abaout are silage bales. Aonly those are wrapped in foil for fermenting!

It's promising to obsolete both tractors and all the various attachments, and get farmers locked in to one vendor for all their equipment. I can't imagine it would catch on.

It might have been useful to research some basic agriculture. Saying "telematics" isn't clever. Knowing the Maus 6 isn't a hatvester, it's a loader, that's clever. Bales of hay are NOT wrapped to make the hard to blow away. And so on.
