The Philippines need to revive the traditional Filipino house "KUBO". It can be done with our current technology and even better. I really love the raised level built of all old traditional filipino homes.

I want to see more Bahay-Kubo designs like this but with 3 bedrooms for Dad and Mom room, boys room and girls room. Designs that are simple but functional. Yes! raised-house to avoid flooding during rainy season/ typhoon season. Thank you for sharing your skills and talent to us.

Ganyan naman talaga mga original design ng mga bahay kubo noong unang panahon, na may taas na 10ft para sa ligtas sa biglang pagbaha at mga mababangis na hayop tulad ng musang, buwaya naman sa Mindanao, naglalakihang sawa at mga tulisan.

For a single person, I would simply put a murphy bed in the bedroom that folds down and doubles the useable space on the upper deck. Plus for visitors you can set up a whole series of Hennessey (offset sleeping) Hammocks down stairs, very comfortable; great for the back and insect proof for luxury sleeping and other types of hammocks that double as a lounge during the daytime. Plus I would add an outdoor shower area downstairs, if you are living near the beach.

I sooo love this design! Pinoy na pinoy. Downstairs, the kids have a big space to play, or for entertaining guests or pwede din parking space. Siguro if this was my house, I'd make the balcony smaller,.to give room to a bigger kitchen.. hehe.. bigger space for food preparation. Or maybe, bawasan ko ang balcony so I can have 2 smll bedrooms. 😁But all in all po,, sobrang ganda and practical ang design. More power sa inyo! 🙂

Ang ganda ng design. Its brings a memory so rich and timeless as a pinoy kid. I remember my grannies in the staircase. Ibang klasing feeling lalo na yung silong ng bahay.

Love the concept. Find me a lot near beach. Use 40 feet container home elevated on steel very strong post to hold weight and can withstand typhoons n earthquakes. At least 2-3 bedrooms. Love the open area below typical house in the provinces but with modern amenities. I would secured it with rolling garage door to close it at night. It will be good to add restroom and storage rooms with washer and dryer in this area. Add a small wading pool on the other side for kids. It will a great second home when we vacation in Phil. Love the natural Philippine materials to add touch of native house/bahay kubo 🤗 Doable👍🏼

Nice design. For me, I would expand it to 185 m.-200 m. I would use steel posts to support the 2 level house. I would prefer 3 bedrooms upstairs with 2 bathrooms plus balconies and downstairs should be OPEN space for 360* views. That means glass windows throughout!
