It can apply to simple relationships where the other person feels like they are not being appreciated, but turns out they really do need you. Even if you haven't experienced this, it's some nice lyrics still.

i'll be honest i got into mobo super late (like a month or so after they went on hiatus), but they've still helped me so much throughout the 4-ish(?) years i've known of them. mobo is a band that can change your life regardless of who you are, when you found them, and why they mean so much to you. i think it deserves lots of credit for that :)

I just realized how long I’ve loved this band. I know this ain’t technically Modern baseball but it’s the baby version before it grew up to a band. But I have only listened to most bands I like for like 6 months because the ones before that I grew out of as they were all kinda poppy and yeah. So the only band I still listen to from that 2 years ago is Modern Baseball. I can’t believe how long I’ve been listening to these songs and how much they’ve made me happy or cry or even feel mad at someone that broke my heart. Thanks for uploading this too.
