LSV doesn't think like a burn player I guess. When one can only block, playing a Borros Reckoner, that REDIRECTS blocking combat damage to your opponents face, seems pretty freaking playable.

What is the shelldock isle interaction they were talking about?

So the Teferi creature card from Time Spiral block. It prevents the opponent from casting spells except when they can cast sorcery spells. What you might not realize is, Teferi locks out spells that let you cast another spell immediately (like Shelldock Isle) because they'd be casting them mid-resolution of an ability, which isn't normally a time you'd be able to cast creature spells. Another way to think of this is - they've got something on the stack, so it's not a time Sorceries can be cast. Thus, Teferi locks you out from actually using that land cycle. Presumably this also would stop things like Panglacial Wurm that are cast mis-resolution of other things.

LSV continues to be an amazing player and a really questionable deckbuilder. If he's not playing blue card draw and bounce, he seems really lost. He also pays no thought whatsoever to the land ratios in his decks...and at times you can see him losing because of it. In this case, it's painfully obvious that if you can't attack, you should have BURN and CREATURE SWEEPERS. They keep passing on X-spells, Day of Judgement, Whipflare and a lot of other stuff in order to take dual lands so they can splash Nicol Bolas. In the past, his planless 4-color and 5-color decks have lost in the first round, hope he's playing league or he gets around it this time by outplaying people. But not promising.
