Hi Matt, firstly I hope you're both keeping well and healthy. Secondly, you are not only a hugely talented producer but also extremely brave to camp so near the edge! Soooo enjoyable to watch your video - thank you so very much for taking the time to produce, direct, post online and present. Not only I'm envious but so is our Toyota Hilux - it's only managed the rough hills of Scotland! Take care both of you.

I love your hunting videos mate. And to hear you speak about avoidance of a certain area, even though it is one of your favorite spots, to let the area recover from the drought and to let the dassie(sp?) population recover really shows your consideration for the animals themselves. Even though you state certain things to show your consideration (humane kills, ammo consideration ECT), some may not believe, but your actions show it, And that you are a necessary part of the ecosystem. You don't do it just for the money or content or just to hunt animals. Great job 👍

I have watched almost every video on your site, I am amazed at the country in which you shoot. This video is special to me as it it is very similar terrain to the Flinders Ranges in South Australia where my trusty Rem 788 22.250 and I have roamed over the years. The 788 gave up after countless rounds, then came the Howa, and then... Back then I did not have the luxury of a 4 wheel drive, but my vehicles always went where my nose pointed and got me home again. Like you, I was blessed with a partner that went where the wind blew us. We had so many great adventures and not so great, now in my 7th decade my shooting days are over. Thanks for your great videos, they let me drift back in time.

Gotta tell you, to a Canadian, monkey hunting is something that take a small amount of work to get you’re head around, but I’ve seen videos of how out of hand and troublesome they can be. I’d never live anywhere else but here, but you show some spectacular, and totally different from the typical grass lands and cheeta stuff we always see. Very enlightening stuff you’re showing. One question though, wouldn’t it be better to be camouflaged ?

In America the prices of ammo have gone through the roof. I’m really considering selling a couple of my guns and picking up some thing similar to your FX impact. Also, love the monkey hunts. They’re so dynamic and intelligent it makes for awesome footage and I know the farmers appreciate it. If I ever get enough money I would love to come over and hunt or even just ride along or film. Which type of gun u r willing to sell..fire arm or air gun?
@airgunalley67163 жыл бұрын
Airguns have been affected as well from people moving from firearms to airguns for supplementary purposes. Most .25/.22 on most stores is almost always out of stock or 10+USD over asking price. Even .22lr are 20 cents pr depending on the store.
@autisticusmaximus95623 жыл бұрын
@@airgunalley6716 I think it mainly has to do with the prices of raw material and inflation in general. The oos part could be due to not meeting supply and demand but we do also have a huge unemployment crisis as well

I love the Oxwagon Diaries. Serious question Matt. South Africa to the outsider seems like the perfect place to live as an outdoorsman. But is it at good as it seems on the videos? If you were given the opportunity to move and live anywhere else in the world with the same finances, would you leave South Africa or would you stay? Just trying to gauge to see if it is that good that you'll give up living anywhere else to stay in South Africa? Thanks Matt.
