I purchased this dryer from Sally's, the little housing affixed to the hood that sits it on the stand broke within 2 months of having it, rendering it unusable. On top of that, the snap-on legs kept falling off every time I wheeled it. I would not recommend this dryer for those reasons, plus the head-room in the hood is not sufficient to thoroughly dry the entire head due to there being some sort of insert in the hood.

My dryer just broke this evening as the head of it is too heavy for the pole. I liked this dryer but it is poorly constructed. Trying to see if I can have my husband construct something to secure it back on. Would not recommend this brand of dryer or this style for that matter. I gave my Dazey table hood dryer to my 27 year old daughter the dryer is older than she is and still works!

I know this is an old video but how low does the dryer go with the hood on it? I had a dryer that I mounted on the wall but it broke in transit when I was moving. I want to get one that stands up but I would need to be able to store it. I don’t like the other ones “for home use” as those seem to tilt and not be high enough (have to put books on the back to keep it balanced or sit extremely low to get under it).

I wanted to see if it would be something I could store away without disassembling. It seems there are two parts on the pole that allow you to adjust the height. Just wanted to know how low it would go down with the hood on it.

I purchased one from my local Sally's store two months ago and the hood has already broken off! They are made with very cheap plastic so beware! Also I would suggest if you have purchased one, please go on line and read the reviews before you even open the box. If you see too many bad reviews, please take that product back to the place where purchased. Had to learn the hard way!
