Jodi puraton prem dhaaka pore jaay nabopremojaale -- tab bhi yaad rakhna, jab door chala jaau, jab purana prem dhak jaee ya purana prem khatam ho jae naye prem k aane se.. tab bhi mujhe yaad rakhna... (insan ki life me jab koi naye ki entry ho jati hai to wo purana pyar bhul jaata hai 😅😂)

I understand quite a lot of Bengali. Not 100% obviously bcz I never lived there. I don't it's bcz at every stage of life I knew some Bengali person, my mom says many Bengali left bcz they weren't treated nicely but the ones I know or at least when I grew up everything was very normal & the 1st Bengali I knew was my school music teacher and she was the daughter-in-law of the most popular Sweet shop in my town so they were rich. There is KaliBadi at walking distance of 5 min but that's a school so I never went there except DurgaPuja bcz for that period it's just like any other pandal. Anyway, I said that bcz sir said he only understood Dhaka and I too speak only Hindi or Bhojpuri but understand Bengali, the only person I never understood was the wife of a Bengali photographer bcz she spoke so fast that it became tough.
