In this video, I talk about how the clash of two very different cultures, Spanish and Andean, created a beautiful and unique genre of Peruvian traditional music now known as huayno. While huayno is a mixture of many influences, its heart is truly indigenous, having roots in Incan and even pre-Incan music. it's important to remember, while this video is educational, it reflects my personal opinions. I am always learning new things about my passions and thus I will always make mistakes.
