Get a small pizza stone or a unglazed flooring tile and put in the bottom. It helps radiate and control the temperature better.

I want one for top of indoor wood stove. What are the inner dimentions side to side and depth.? Also the current price? Thank you for your video, and all the best from New Rochelle N.Y.

It might work well on a wood stove. I want to try that now. 11.5"D x 12"W x 13.5"H are the dimensions $50

Hi. I was wondering how secure the "hinges" are. Do they securely hold the sides in place? I bought the Coleman stove just like this one some years back and, after I folded it and then, reassembled it again, the "hinges" keep coming loose from the sides so that, the sides didn't "stay put". A big problem since the sides hold up the cooking rack. I ended up just wiring all the slots with thin wire and kept it open all the time. Anyhow, have you found this problem after folding it up and then reassembling the oven?

@@Annettesmusic we ended up using it a lot this summer. And one of the hinges on the door was a little warped. But the door would still close. The cooking grate stayed firm all summer.

@@jaystus Thank you for your reply. I pulled out my old round Stanley Stove top oven the other day(I use it on my stove top) but, there is nothing like this box style since, the rack can be placed higher than in the round oven I have so, less likely to burn the bottom of the baked goods.
@jaystusАй бұрын
@ I have definitely used the rack up higher, to prevent burning.

@@jaystus Oh gosh yeah! I'm really "itching" to buy this. Gonna give it a bit of time to see if it goes on sale on Black Friday or maybe on an Amazon Prime day:) Be well my friend.

it says you could use wood, but how would go about raising the over the fire?
@jaystus4 ай бұрын
@@wesleyblack8302 ot does, but I don’t think that would be very easy. Maybe if on a small fire and it’s on a grate. Maybe I should try it. Seems like it’s pretty thin aluminum, but I guess the propane is pretty hot too.

@crabbingclammingboatcampin4962 thanks, I didn’t know Coleman lowered the price. Not surprised it’s now the same price. A few months ago this was was about $20 cheaper.
@AhhSamboi3 ай бұрын
Only slightly cheaper than the Coleman on Amazon but compared to the other videos I've seen this seems to heat up faster than the Coleman. One video just the preheat took 20 minutes to reach 350
@jaystus3 ай бұрын
@@AhhSamboi yeah, you’re right. I see it’s not much cheaper anymore. Been a few months since I posted this. After using it all summer it can preheat in about 5 minutes. If full blast.

Am I wrong or is it bigger than the Coleman camp oven?

@@MasterFalconer-pv8zb honestly, I’m not exactly sure. It seems big.

@@frankroper3274 now that I have used it all summer. I can say It’s been good. I had the same concern. Maybe about 95% is still perfect. I did make a video about how it stood up. One of the door hinges was a little off after the summer but I was able to push it back.
