The Neil Young tune you played, wow that sounds amazing. Great pedal too.

Please do one of these on how you use the microcosm. These videos are the best!

This one of my favorite pedals. There's so many fun ways to use it and they all sound amazing. I love the reverse sounds. My only problem is that I like reverb after the tensor when using the reverse mode, but I like reverb before the tensor when using it as an ambient soundscape looper. I might have to hook them up to a router type pedal that allows me to switch the order. Either that or put another reverb pedal after my tensor.

It is absolutely necessary to describe a unique effect that only this pedal is capable of: by shifting the pitch to a tempered value, you press "Record" as if you wanted to record a loop phrase, but you don't play. After 4.8 s., the looper stops and everything you play after is followed by a musical line that is in some way a paraphrase of your playing, but sufficiently independent, strangely agile or offbeat, and ALWAYS in the mode you just played; not the slightest discord ! It's as if the guys at Red Panda were ahead of the curve on artificial intelligence apps....

Love the tensor! I think the magic is in the random knob. Making short loops that vary every time is really great and unique in the microlooper world. Expression pedal also opens a lot of. (Ha wrote the comment before the end of the video, see you agree with my assessment!)

"Modern Jazz Noise" sounds right up my alley. I've got a Fairfield Circuitry Randy's Revenge, so I'm very excited to hear how you use the Radius.

I recently got the Tensor to add effects to my saxophone and if you add an expression pedal it opens up a whole new level. The expression pedal goes from the Tensor being off with your heal down to what ever settings you have with the toe down but in between it sweeps or gliss's all the settings of the Tensor. if you have the Tensor set to one octave up the pedal moves through all the intervals (2nd,Maj 3rd, 5th...) seamlessly😃. And if you also have the speed or time knobs set it glides between those settings at the same time.

Great review and explanation- different from everything else that is out there. I got the Tensor myself a few months ago. It is so inspiring. If you haven’t done so already, I’d encourage you to experiment by setting the foot switches to momentary mode. Using micro loops in and out on the fly whilst you are playing brings in another level of weirdness!

The Tensor does sound like a fascinatingly inspiring pedal and you have some fabulous settings ... I have the Context Reverberator and that's wonderful too (yay Red Panda!) though I only have a v1 (the manual for v1 is one page, the manual for v2 is 39 pages, including MIDI control, presets etc.). I want a Particle next, which overlaps a bit with your Microcosm.

Yes, I am and still loving it. It's not on my board; I use it for smaller gigs where I don't bring the pedal board.

I see you use false nails.. Same here. Which ones do you use sir??
@tomlippincott

I have acrylic dips put on at a nail salon and then re-enforce them with nail glue mixed with nail filler powder. Years ago I used fake nails but I could never get the end by the cuticles to be totally flush with the nail and they would get caught on the strings and sometimes fly off in the middle of a gig.
