Nice, just needed that. Strange enough this throw was never really properly explained to me. I ll be needing it for my first dan exam. 🙏🏼
@pppam10 ай бұрын
For the Dan exam you still go the old fashioned way , that is you still gtab the leg
@francdejong10 ай бұрын
@@pppam , yes indeed in nage no kata I showed the old version, but in my free demonstration I used this one. 👊🏼

Thanks so much for your awesome videos! Im quite concerned about smashing ukes head into the mat. Ive had it done to me during randori. Tips to avoid doing this to uke?
@nickyonezuka-cranfordjkc49312 жыл бұрын
If you get your shoulder inside his thigh you can get more lift which might help but uke should know to tuck his head for the roll

Nick: do you think the sport will ever reintroduce leg grabbing?

I hope

Is this do able no Gi? You should have a No Gi and Gi parts of every video
@nickyonezuka-cranfordjkc49312 жыл бұрын
Yes but the kozushi is better with gi. With no Gi, you might as well go with the traditional fireman’s carry

@@nickyonezuka-cranfordjkc4931 or perhaps with the right hand on the opponent's wrist and the left hand behind the neck? What do you think about?
