I'll be up front that I'm kinda a mega fan of this band so take what I say with a grain of salt. But I'll say this band is one of the deepest most thought provoking metalcore bands in the scene. Songs about the spanish civil war, homelessness in the LGBTQ youth community, the rise of neo nazis in the US, PTSD from war torn soldiers, how native people had their land stolen from them, alongside Garrett's own deep dark depression. And on top of that musically they're crazy talented in ways that avoid most of the chuggyness a lot of other metalcore bands lean on. I've also met the band a few times now and Garrett himself is one of the sweetest most caring people. I transitioned and basically left metalcore because I didn't really know if I was welcome in that scene anymore but Visible Unseen talked so deeply about queer issues and was spoken from words of trans and queer people he had met and connected with that I knew I could at least feel safe at their shows. It's a level that most bands can't reach on an emotional level

Wasn't sure how to feel about this song initially, being such a big fan of their other music. And as you said it could use a little variation. But it's short enough that you don't really get bored of the similar bits and I found that they kept popping up in my head days after listening to it just once the first time. The vibe of the video reminds me a lot of the show Dark, which is dope, and the lyrics are cool. Garret kind of sad dancing in a button up in the club is kind of hilarious, reminds me of being on tour honestly when you just end up in some weird place in a weird city after a show.
