Mr. Russ mentions the Montagnana scroll being used on the Stradivari cello. Can you do a short video comparing the difference in the scrolls? I have al Montagnana cello and a Stradivari cello and the scrolls look very similar. What do you look for?

The sleeping beauty is probably the copy I would purchase if I had the money. Is there a sound quality difference between the Linea Macchi and the Master?

Sound quality difference yes there is because the wood is more seasoned for master cellos. Yet what is more obvious is : as a musician you feel the difference in the creation of the notes. I like his Linea Macchi cellos and hopefully one day will own one too.

@@CelloCoach Looking FWD to hearing you demo a Montagnana. by Edgar. :) Q: Did Edgar ship your cello to you or did you bring it home from one of your visits? I wonder how he ships his works over sees to make sure they arrive in one piece. I know he's sent violins to HK, Japan...etc. The guys in the post offices and working baggage for airlines aren't the most gentle heh...
