Unexpected night on the town in Mosul. Driven in style as you can see! went first to the old part of the city to the amazing coffee and tea place BYTNA, which was an old 100 year old house before. its now a Cultural centre as you can see, some of the antiques were gifted by residents, some things date back 120 years! i went here a few times for a chai and chill out.
Then off to see a couple of hotels. I ,and other travellers always had problems finding reasonable priced Hotels in Mosul, everything was just word of mouth..so heres another couple!
A mall is a Mall anywhere, and not my favourite places to go, but i just wanted to show that Mosul is not all just a ruined city...Thanks again to the hilarious Aziz for his entertainment ,very fun guy!
