Subscribed! I have a use case for this to replace an old quoting system. Love the UI! I was able to get the data out of this ancient DB into excel. Is it possible to use this solution with sharepoint rather than Dataverse? I have roughly 10 users that still use this old DB daily 😢😂.

If yes (as expected), is there a downloadable canvas app that I can move to sharepoint rather than DV?

Hello great video just one question 32:56 when you insert the image, apears the bg 1,2,3,4. I ulpoad files with the same name, with the same table, but the image never shows. In the video never shows inserting "thisitem.bg_image", but i put it in image property, but nothing

Do you have anything on creating spinner while triggering a flow?

No I dont. But to do it, I generally just download a loading spinner from the internet (I mostly use loading.io). The download should be GIF or animated SVG. Then you simply display on your app however you want it with an image control

Hey, could you make a video showing how to set up the environment? I feel like i set up somtheing incorrectly, cause even when copying exactly what you do, i get syntax errors when trying to create the named formulas like that

Just select environment variables settings - common data services.

Just select environment variables in your overview section on power apps. Then add new, and choose common data services. It's what you use for standard license.

Hi For Named Formulas, also make that you get the syntax right and then make sure you are not setting the variable in any other other place on the app

While I probably have an unhealthy obsession with containers 😅😅, they really help out in layout. You can do without them but you'll have to do more work to get some of these layouts.

Thanks 😁. As for the upgrade issue. I'm not sure what might cause that. Someone also messaged me last month with this same issue, and he said he used a VPN to resolve it. If it becomes a regular occurrence, I might just open a Patreon account to give viewers options if KZbin is always messing up

Hi Tolu Great video as always I tried importing the 'canvas app only' as made available in the community download and it only shows the app template and none of the components just a blank template with the containers any ideas why?

The default button control doesn't have functionality for icon, hence we have to use this workaround. Microsoft has however hinted at adding a modern button control that will do this

Hi. That won't be the best approach as the button and icon would have different hover triggers. i.e. on hover of the icon the button won't have any hover. So this approach would only work if you want to button to have the same fill and color on default setting and onhover
