This video alone made me buy MSS. Great work, truly impressed!

was it what you were wanting? when compared to css i think mss sounds far better simply because of the dryer and more detailed sound, would you agree with this?
@Evil_Dr_X3 ай бұрын
@@Fena0_0 After buying MSS I soon after bought CSS as well and to be honest, I think MSS is great but it takes twice the amount of work to make it sound good. At leasts for the music I like to create. To me, CSS provides a more "Plug&Play" solution - it just works no matter what I throw at it. MSS needs a lot of trial and error.

these guys are making some really solid libraries. I fell in love in LASS 3. might cop this one as well

I think MSS is a lot more feature and articulation packed. LASS is amazing too though.

This is a fantastic demo, thanks! Made me rethink the way I am using the library. I bought the library some time ago, was still struggling with different issues. I use FL studio, I had some difficulty in switching between different articulations, also the staccato for example gets played at a very different volume than legato which made the transitions weird. The other issue was with the inconsistent delay when playing legato solos/1st player in live. I am wondering did you face such issues, I hear perfect sounds from your demo
@ManyWorldsMusic2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes even though the finished result may sound good it takes quite a bit of adjusting and editing in the piano roll editor of Logic to get results. There’s a lot of trial and error and experimenting with different articulations. I wouldn’t like to have to do it without the articulation sets that Audiobro helpfully included in the library!!

BTW I also used MSS in my latest music, you hear it mainly in the solos/main instrument. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpaWm5ttmpyjj5o

First of all, as a fellow musician and composer, great work! The composition is great. So well made, and perfect for a show case. Second, i wanted to ask: is this a library or a standalone VST instrument? Do you use it on Kontakt or it is a separate virtual instrument? Thanks!
@ManyWorldsMusic10 ай бұрын
Thanks for the compliment! It’s a Kontakt based library. I think it works in the free Kontakt player although I use the full Kontakt anyway as many other libraries require it.

Wow! Hey, how do you handle glissando between intervals? This is something most vsts are though to make sound natural
@ManyWorldsMusic Жыл бұрын
The portamento is automatically triggered depending on how you set it to respond to velocity etc.

Hello, where does one learns this kind of information ? Did Audiobro make a good user manual ?
@ManyWorldsMusic10 ай бұрын
Yes their manuals are quite big and detailed.

sounds great! I'm a new user of MSS, and I get that you have to tweak it a bit, but how do you get to the runs section and back to legato/shorts/etc. without a dedicated keyswitch? I don't have Logic, and as a Reaper user, I don't believe there's a CC template.

how are you able to play all the patches at the same time?
@ManyWorldsMusic2 жыл бұрын
I’m not exactly sure what you mean. I have one instance of MSS per track. One each for Violins 1, Violins 2, Viola and Cello. Using key switches, or in my case, Logic’s articulation sets, each track/instance can play any chosen articulation at any time. The individual parts are played or entered one at a time. Hope that answers your question.

You meant to see the piano roll with the whole midi notes? Just select the regions all at the same time bt pressing shift while clicking on each and the midi notes will show on the piano roll 👌

It's quite a nice comprehensive workhorse library, but it's also quite clunky in some respects and lacks definition. Even the close mics alone don't sound very close, I'd give it 6.5/10.
@ManyWorldsMusic7 ай бұрын
I can’t say I’ve gone very in depth on it as it seems to be endlessly customisable and requires a lot of study. But for sure it won’t always suit every scenario or work for everything. I think the solo strings are my least favourite patches and sometimes the section’s tone lacks bite or definition as you say.
