As a Japanese, it is very interesting to see the ending with Kan being so well supported by the people. Kan in OTL was the prime minister when the Senkaku boat collision incident happened and when there was a major earthquake in Tohoku, and he is not well regarded by the people because of his blunders and other missteps. Anyway, it is interesting to see someone who is not very appreciated in OTL being appreciated in the other world line. (e.g. Yeltsin in the TNO main story)

actually reminds me of how Ozawa would be remembered as. If only stage one happens, he’s a democratic revolutionary. If stage 2 happens, he’s a dictator. His image would be vastly different in the two timelines which I think is interesting

Even though Munetoshi's post-unification biography states that the Emperor is still alive, just a mere marionette for the Tokugawa. The whole silent regency and the less than subtle sound of a sword being drawn at the end of his superevent makes me think the Emperor is actually dead.

The choice of characters is more accurate and closer than previous Chinese super events. Real image, and the background story is equally fascinating (I'm glad that I finally dare to discuss my meager knowledge and you in this work), and I will have time to slowly analyze and taste more plots and stories in the future. In short, I will come back to watch this video and recommend it to my friends for the next period of time. Have a good rest, Brother Sov II. I am looking forward to your next work, the fate of the colony and the remake of the Soviet Union, and I look forward to your answers to my questions.Come on!

Sov II Japanese election+civil war quotas (made by me) Inspiration from the “Just Some random dude on the internet” comment in the first Japanese election video The Japanese election 0:30 Edano: Alas, the democratic spring has arrived on the land of the rising sun 1:01 Tanigaki: Prosperity shall run wild all over the world 1:38 Nikai: The end of the rivalry between the sun and the dragon 2:15 Fuwa: This new sun of the people will shine through all inequalities 2:56 Nukaga: the old sun prevails… and as it go upward, down quietly with the dream of a free Japan 4:03 Ishihara: the old sun prevails… as it’s terrible and ambitious ray of light will changes the fate of this land… forever 5:16 4th Sino-Japanese War: The dragon and the rising sun has crushed it’s head against each other again… but this time, the outcome of the fight will it be the rise of the new empire or it’s final nail on the coffin 6:31 The Japanese Civil War: Engulfed by its’ own flame, the rising sun falls… (Sov II news quote) and from its ashes will the sun shine again like a phoenix or its ashes be blown away with the wind The Opposition government (the war is lost… as well the last straw with the army so they will fight to tear down this dictatorship once and for all) 7:31 Opposition (Kun): At long last, The torch of liberty has light on the land of the rising sun 8:37 Opposition (Ozawa): Although with rainy cloud may observed its brightness, the light of freedom has come to Japan… right? Revolutionary Japan (After so long yet pointless battle, the “red” had enough and called for a armed revolution) 9:36 Revolutionary (Shirai): Marx and Engels smile from above 10:35 Revolutionary (Karatani): People of East Asia, Unite! 11:23 Revolutionary (Kasai): the sun has been tear down by hammer and sickle 12:54 Revolutionary (Shigenobu): True “Red” sun has now set on the sky Hokkaido Government (Like the revolutionaries, they have had enough with the opposition as well, as the result the people of the Hamanasu declared to separated themselves from the war before they realize that they need to fight to survive or being starved to death in the cold) 13:55 Hokkaido (Fukushima): the sun from the north will fight for all under it guidance 14:40 Hokkaido (Inoue): The sun has set… but as its replacement, the cherry blossoms will carry the mandate onwards 15:22 Hokkaido (Suzuki): Although the way to rise is little corrupt and need some luck, the sun has rise again 16:26 Hokkaido (Koike): With Strength and equality, this sun shall set high The remnant from the reds and Hamanasu (reds: they fight and yet they still not win… at this point, the true red beast has declared its own revolution to end the mess their ex-comrades started, Hamanasu: the ainus and the tankers have been said to wait and fight for so long but now they had enough as well so they rebelled to get their peace… but Amits the chaos… the dreaded one that thought to be dead has awakens again) 17:16 Ainus: The Sun and blue sky is always together… but will this coexistence last? 18:10 Taura tank brigade: after long winter, the Iron cavalry has fiercely rush through all its rivals 18:49 Tōhoku Stalinist: the new sun has rise… the sun that the man of steal will proud The Sapporo-based Anarchist (the dreaded hunter has rise from his grave to end the sun but on his way he need to face the wolf he once trust first) 19:39 Toyama Anarchist Front: The sun has set… and as it’s replacement, the great fire of chaos has burn all in its sight 20:39 Karihara Communal Armies: The great fire has ceased to burn… but someone has now want to rekindle it again 21:49 EAAJAF: Against all odds, the sun has set… and it will never rise to shine or burn anything ever again Karafuto/Sakhalin (the Northern rabbit has been isolated from its flock and now has been insight of the giant red bear) 23:04 Karafuto: From the far north, the sun has shine again… gently to its people, horrible for the red bear The imperial court (In the urgent yet rational decision, the emperor has declared neutrality in the Kanto region but as both sides collapse he saw no end in this brutality so planned to end it himself… but under his nose, the sea snake and wicked fox has their plans to get the emperor under their “guidance”) 24:11 Emperor Naruhito: The descendant of Amaterasu has reclaimed his country again… as he promised to himself to raised his country to its full glory once more 25:21 IJN junta: The sun has rise from the ocean… but will it last longer than when it rise from the land? 26:29 The Kazoku: Quietly inside the imperial palace, the nowadays depressed emperor is now being stringed by his advisors, those whose ancestor lost their power to his great-great-grandfather The IJA government (After it’s first bet has failed disastrously now they need to pay it for a dearly price… but the bet this time it will be a grand victory or death) 28:00 IJA junta: the army has came to restore its grip over the sun… and this time they’ll make sure that it’s grip shall last till the end of time The IJA remnant (Although they, at first, fight for the same ending… Now their tolerance against each another have reach the boiling point for they have their own script for the aftermath so after long but indecisive battle the once brother-in-arms has open their true intentions and turn their guns at each other) 29:00 Satō National Revolutionary: The sun is now walking on a tightrope… will it fall into the illusion for “good old days” of conquest or it’ll walk through it and march on to change Asia’s future… 29:45 Tamogami Ultramilitarist: After it’s second defeat to the dragon, the rising sun has had enough… this time it’ll rise and get to claim its place on this world… no matter the cost 30:35 Yamaguchi Citizen’s league: After a century of humiliation, a mugunghwa has won and get its independence back… but it’ll not oppress their oppressor, the chrysanthemum, instead they’ll make them join hand-in-hand and bloom beautifully together IJA Civilian collaborators (They witness the army collapse by its own weight… so to hell with them all, they are the representative of the people they will fight to bring peace back… Kyoto house of rep.: but inside the chamber of power it’s look like the second war is about to start… the war that will tear the whole family apart, Hiroshima: at least the remnants of the old regime (Heisei democrats) have survive but now they need to find the way to survive before anyone come knocking their door) 31:28 Kishi: As the grandfather smile from hell… it’s look like his (poor little) grandson doesn’t enjoy his victory at all 32:23 Abe: In his eye, His duty is not done yet… but fate doesn’t treat him equally with others as his time is going to run out very soon 33:12 Hiroshima Prefecture: The old regime has proved itself that it is here to stay… but to the surprised for the people… they dare to shake hand with the Eagle The economic directorate (the corporations had, at first, saddle down quietly waiting for the winner to arise… but as time goes by now they, as an opportunist, saw a potential to turn the table and be the ones on top… but they aren’t the ones who saw the opportunity as well) 33:42 The Zaibatsu: although on the outside their plans may look beautiful… but in practice, it’s built upon the cries and sorrow of the people… and believe me, someday their pyramid will crushing down horribly 34:33 The yakuza: Their brutality is second to none and their image on this land is scared by many, yet to ever think that one day, they’ll be the ones who came out on top of the war is too much to imagine The small rebels (Their ideas has been sidelined by the people… but now with their opponents weaken enough… they take their chance to rise up and hope to make their ideals shine in the world… some may lead to peace and stability… while others may dragged not only Japan but the whole world to trembles in fear and agony) 35:13 Baraku liberation league: He who has two way to go, one that store in the dictatorship like the past and other that may shape the future to something unimaginable by all 36:31 Buddhist: The enlightened light of the Buddha will guide the way to the future 37:35 Sōka Gakkai: Their beliefs may be strange for many… but trust me, it’ll at least make things better 38:26 NSL: The Swatsika has find it’s way to replace the sun… but it’s throne might clubbing down by its own weight real soon 39:27 Happy Realization Army: the new golden sun has rise… and it’s ray shall purify those who follow it and burn anyone who dare to stand on the way to “their eternal happiness” 40:09 Shoko Asahara: The clock has been ticking ever since … as the world trembles for what ever action from this… abomination gonna do

@@YordanN_2 I disagree, the major powers will work together to stop Aum Shinrikyo. So they're very unlikely to succeed despite the damage and deaths they'll cause. The EAAJAF on the other hand will basically be like Taboritsky in the actual mod where they'll commit a massive self-genocide and destroy the very idea of Japan. If they succeed they could kill up to 120 MILLION people, which would make the EAAJAF and its leaders the greatest mass killers in history, significantly higher than OTL's Mao's China's death toll of 80 million. 1. Not stable at all. The entire economy is built off of religious tributes. So basically, excessive taxation. Very little thought goes into economic policy and the state is only concerned with punishing anyone who avoids El Cantare's cult. 2. The IJA Government. Japan has been pretty distant from Germany since WW2 ended, but the Germans are interested in propping up the IJA and helping them to win the war. This fact is obvious when you notice how they react to an Opposition victory.

It just an Idea to Share with. 18:09 Leader's trait would be Experienced Tank Commander: - Boost towards Armor divisions. 18:49 Leader's Trait would be Man of Steel: - Boost towards Factories or Construction. 20:39 Since he was the youngest figure of the civil war, Given an Inexperience Trait, but over time as he learned his mistakes and learns the truth about corruption going on. 21:12 He would have new trait of Learned From The Past(I couldn't think names of the Leader Traits and I don’t know what the boost towards). 22:26 Leader's trait would be The Sun has Set and Never Rise Again: - Weekly Manpower 1595 loss - low as 200% Monthly Population loss, and it gets worse to Unknown 3 digits or more percent - Weekly Stability: -0.80% it gets worse to max as -1.20% - Weekly War Support: -0.80% it gets worse to max as -1.20% - Damages to Garrisons: -80% max to -120% during his TROLLING succession - AI Modifier Focus on Offense: 100% to 200% when he does more TROLLING succession I can’t do it all the leaders’ traits, but I don’t mind the replies, suggestions, and corrections.

Here, I'll make the list on which among the factions within the final stage have the highest to lowest chance of being the likely winners of the Japanese Civil War: 1. Chugoku Clique (OK starting position, density, militarily-inclined advantage) 2. Revolutionary Japan (Density, good starting position) 3. Tohoku SR (Density, OK starting position) 4. N.D.A. Tank Brigades (Density, good starting position, militarily-inclined advantage) 5. Kyushu Clique (OK starting position, militarily-inclined advantage) 6. Kyoto Emergency Government (Density, difficult starting position) 7. Japanese Opposition (OK starting position, density, state may depend diplomatically) 8. Hiroshima Prefecture (Challenging starting position, militarily-inclined advantage, state may depend diplomatically) 10. EAAJAF + Internal Factions (Difficult starting position) 11. The JP Opposition could have a decent shot if the OFN backs them enough, the Comintern could also help them but accepting too much of their help could lead to the opposition's fracture if the JO can last long enough and reaches national unification they're going to get some stability issues with JC armies roaming around so there's probably minigames and focuses on how to deal with them while maintaining the new yet fragile peace

A few questions: 1. How will Fumio Kishida end up in TTL? A member in CLP? 2. What will happen if Ishihara is elected w/o China collapsing? 3. How would a “successful” Ryuho Okawa’s Happy Science regime end up like?
@sovii2852
@sovii2852 2 жыл бұрын
1. Fumio is a member of the CLP and an ally of Tanigaki. He'd probably be a candidate to become a minister under Tanigaki. 2. Japan becomes a lot more militant against China, but their actions only go as far as diplomacy. But with China intact, I imagine Ishihara would prey on some of the former colonies, like Taiwan. Taiwan is already in a limbo; they exist solely as a buffer state between China and Japan. Ishihara knows it's unlikely that China would go to war over Taiwan, and if they were to invade the island, it would validate Japanese expansionism and humiliate China for failing to protect (or seize) Taiwan. 3. The only sane thing Okawa could do would be to try and create a proper nation-state instead of a poorly-organized political entity that revolves around his cult of personality. A sane Japan under him would probably look like your everyday theocracy, like Afghanistan or Iran.

Take a rest, you’ve earned it. I look forward to your future content! (reviving my P.S. from the original upload: how would Buzgalin’s USSR react to each of the Revolutionary Japan unifiers? Would it be more content if a certain faction was victorious than another faction?)
@sovii2852
@sovii2852 2 жыл бұрын
Ty! Also, i did think about Buzgalin's USSR and how they would interact with the more "democratic communist" unifiers. Seeing as how Buzgalin is a more temperate reformist, his Comintern would probably prefer communist regimes that are more open, like Shirai's JPR, but would tolerate Bukharinist regimes so long as there's a prospect of future liberalization. I imagine it as sort of how the US propped up dictatorships in Latin America while being a fully democratic country itself. Even Buzgalin is willing to endorse the Comintern and its' shady actions so long as they can advance communism on the world stage. All in all, i think Buzgalin would get along best with Shirai's JPR. Revolutionary Japan is one of the few communists factions that appear with a more liberal leader in charge, so you can imagine they would be stronger from day one. If Kasai won, he (Buzgalin) would probably try to pressure Kasai into liberalizing - but as you can imagine, that would create a whole heap of trouble, since Kasai's JPR suffers from a legitimacy problem and is viewed either with indifference or hatred from most of the population. As for Karatani, i think Buzgalin would have a better chance at repairing Soviet-Japanese relations, but Karatani and his supporters are rabid in their Anti-Soviet stance, so even for Buzgalin it would be difficult. For the Maoists though, it would be a far more interesting case. The Maoists basically reach a compromise with the Comintern and have the most satisfactory outcome when it comes to Soviet-Japanese relations. USSR-DRJ relations would be awkward with Buzgalin in charge, considering Shigenobu is (and is widely recognized as) a dictator who uses militias to spread terror. I still think the DRJ would join the Comintern, but the relationship between the two countries would be tense up until Shigenobu's death, in which case the DRJ would have a chance to liberalize with Soviet support. Sorry for the long answer, but I'm sure you get the idea.

Just a few questions regarding ideologies: 1. Why was Fundamentalism which was under the Ultranationalist color in the original mod separated aside for its own category initially? 2. Since it has been established that Religious Fundamentalism finally has the Cultism subideology, what are other potential subids that fall under this category that could be seen in future videos? 3. Any potential general ideologies that could fall under their own categories?
@sovii2852
@sovii2852 2 жыл бұрын
1. I felt like it wouldn't be a modern setting without that. Fundamentalism has grown quite a bit in recent decades, and there are signs that it has become an entirely different movement. The Iranian Revolution, for example, was an entirely different beast from what the world was used to. No one had seen a Fundamentalist revolution before. And with radical terrorist groups rising and even taking power like in Afghanistan, it's safe to say that Fundamentalism has grown a lot. 2. I might make subids for all major religions, from Christianity to Buddhism and Islamism. I had this idea for a while, but haven't acted upon it yet, for some reason. 3. Not really, though I had plans to add Right-wing Libertarianism as a separate ideological group. The problem is, it's hard to find Libertarian leaders outside of the US and Europe, and Libertarianism isn't very popular or known outside of those two places. You could make the argument that the same applies to Left-Libertarianism, which is fair, but Right-Libertarianism is a fairly new ideology in comparison. Eventually, I concluded that I would only be able to add Minarchist leaders before stepping into Corporatocratic territory, but after Liberal Conservatism became its' own group and a convenient place for a Libertarian subideology, i scrapped the idea entirely.

So, I would like to know what China's reactions will be to certain reunifiers (such as the EAAJAF scorpion cell, Imperial court {Coup de Kazoku}, Yamaguchi Gumi, N.S.L, Happiness realization and Aum Shinrikyo).
@Mr.me2006
@Mr.me2006 Жыл бұрын
*“China” in this timeline will be a big tent of all political powers across the spectrum but Sov has summarize them into 3 blocs: the democrats, the communists, and the nationalist, and by the time that Japan reunites itself, one of the three factions may already won out the Chongqing conference (go back to the old China video for more information) so their specific reaction may have a little difference from one to another EAAJAF: terrified at first and will desperately tries to cooperate with another world powers to destroy it as China will be the one who get the biggest hit of Japanese immigrants. The Imperial Court: Just as their pre-Civil war relations be (Diplomatically hostile) as to them (the Chinese), the emperor and IJNs’ ending are just like returning to the old Japan and the Kazoku basically a old Japan without elections (a little head ups that on the outside, the kazoku ending makes like that Naruhito just turned into a absolute monarch instead of opening elections, the world doesn’t know about the whole “Matsudairing” thing behind the scenes.) Yamaguchi Gumi: Disgusted and partially hostile and will keep a close eye on them, but at the point where the Yakuza has risen to become a victor, Japan has become more or less of a “piles of rubble”, and even when they reconstruct itself enough to project its power to the world, I highly doubt that the Yakuza will even care about outside world as Japan still have a lot for them to exploit. N.S.L.: greatly more hostile on both diplomatically and physically at first but will eventually cool down a bit, like the Yakuza, they (the N.S.L.) have to reconstruct Japan and consolidate themselves first beforehand before moving on to external matters like Korea and their relationship with the pakt first to even do something to China (Maybe some propaganda against China), this combined with the fact that they are already on the edge of collapsing on its own weight (details in post-unification Kazunari bio) may make the Chinese feel safe for a bit, I guess. (seeing your enemy suffer again and again will be so satisfied.) Happiness Realization: hostile up as the Yakuza, Okawa will not tries to outright declared hostility to China but may tries to portray the outside world as heretic. Dumping both sides opinion towards one another along the process. (For average Chinese will be like “One ‘Emperor’ to another, always the same.”) Aun Shinrikyo: Like the EAAJAF, greatly terrified and will cooperated with ALL world powers to put down Asahara before he can start his Armageddon

Lore wise what happened to it? 1: How is the IJA split at the start of the civil war? At stage II? At Stage III? Few, but some surely join the opposition and imperial court At stage II, the IJA splits into two cliques, but i'm sure there are some staying under Kyoto/Hiroshima. But what happens to the IJA that joined the opposition at stage II? (I know about the NDA tank brigrades, yes i watched the entire video). Does anybody in the IJA even join the radical anti-establishment factions in stage III? Some become bandits/mercenaries, but i highly doubt any soldier will join a doomsday club.
@sovii2852
@sovii2852 2 жыл бұрын
1. At the start, the IJA is fairly unified, but there is some distress in the lower ranks. This was caused by the IJN's refusal to join the war, and the growing rivalry between Sato and Tamogami. Both are popular in the lower ranks, and eventually, once both Sato and Tamogami start attacking each other in the middle of the fighting, the Kyoto-based House of Representatives takes the opportunity to dissolve the Junta and declare it illegitimate. And yes, some of them did join the other cliques. Kyoto has some IJA Divisions, and so does Hiroshima. The reason as to why Sato and Tamogami's factions are referred to as "IJA Cliques" is because the remnants of the IJA hold political power. And some IJA members, mostly low-ranking soldiers and officers, did join the Opposition. Most of them lead the militias thanks to their expertise. And yeah, some do become bandits and mercenaries, but none of them join the doomsday cults.

Nice job on the compilation! I like the new addition of economic types and custom country titles of the faction. I also like some details you added, like conservative backlash being reflected in Republic of Japan's ideology chart, or EAAJAF's victory event title's lack of exclamation mark, considering its more downer feeling. I still have several questions though: 1. Who's the man that got redacted in Ozawa's superevent (08:37)? Is he Naoto Kan? 2. If Chinese Communists win the post-Chinese Victory struggle and the Ultra-Left win the Japanese Revolution (10:35), would they join East Asian Worker's Pact? Or do they hate Japan too much for that? 3. Does the dark brown in ideology chart (example: 19:39, 21:49) represent *Esoteric Communism*? 4. Should the Death of Japan occurs, where would the Japanese flee into? I think Taiwan, Hawaii, and United States would be the likely destination. 5. Is NEATO a funny coincidence with "neato" term or is it intentional? 6. At the end of Abe's superevent (32:23), is the ambulance sirene indicate that he's being assassinated like in OTL? 7. Is preemptive invasion of Aum Shinrikyo possible before they start Aum's Armageddon? And by the way, the superevent playlist can be found here: kzbin.info/aero/PLVBzFX_WyDyX-PLx0-mEuA2siyVSvLHdj

Thank you! Also, here are some answers: 1. It is Kan. It isn't meant to imply that he was killed or anything, though. If you take a closer look at the image, there are some hints that it's a photograph from the day when the civil war begins. It's a way to contrast their past friendship with Ozawa's eventual betrayal. 2. Like any potential winner of the Chongqing Conference, the Communists would be too busy trying to deal with insurgencies and warlord armies inside of their own territory. I think Communist China would be a major player in the mini-Cold War between Red Japan and the USSR, both sides would probably try to flood the country with foreign aid or military assistance in an attempt to gain the favor of China's leadership. 3. The Dark red is Left-Libertarianism. It's custom-made, like the green ideology (Fundamentalism). I grouped all of the Libertarian-leaning ideologies from the Communist and Socialist ideology groups into it, along with some custom subideologies like Anti-Japaneseism. 4. Taiwan would definitely be a good place for them to flee to. In this timeline, Taiwan already has a large ethnic Japanese population, and a lot of Japanese dissidents (like some Communists) fled to Taiwan as a sort of safe haven. Some would probably make it to Hawaii and the US, but i think a good portion of the population wouldn't have the means to get there. 5. Intentional, but it was a bit of a joke! It was either that or NATO, which i thought would be way too obvious. 6. Originally, the ending to Abe's superevent was indeed an obvious reference to his assassination, with sirens and panicked crowds, but I decided that it would be a little too on the nose, so I made it more subtle and up to the viewer's interpretation. You could either see it as Abe failing to carry out his plans to revitalize Japan and being murdered like in OTL, or you could take the more obvious route and say it's just meant to be the police carrying cutting out the power to carry out a raid on potential dissidents. I think the former is the more interesting; that would mean that, theoretically, Shinzo would have a sort of "assassination meter" (like RFK in TNO), and the obvious authoritarianism of his regime is evidenced by the fact that the power cuts out as soon as Abe is shot, in an attempt to hide the event from the public. 7. I imagine a sort of international crisis would trigger (If the world hasn't fallen into total chaos, that is) and it would be possible to delay Aum's armageddon until Asahara himself dies and is succeeded by one of his conspirators. The description and event screen makes a reference to how Asahara's inner circle is slowly breaking from his control (Also represented by the pie chart) and how his subordinates may not be on board with his whole "end of the world" idea.

@@sovii2852 1. The background details of Ichiro Ozawa's super event picture are really interesting. I remember that when I recently saw on our Internet that the Democratic Party of Japan still existed more than a decade ago, they and Yukio Hatoyama took a party campaign advertisement together, in which three people drove a big sailboat in their own duties. Storm, even if Ichiro Ozawa fell in the wind and rain, Nao Kan and Yukio Hatoyama tried their best to pull him up. The three of them worked together in the same boat and united like brothers. At least it can buy a little time for the world to solve the plan that he has not yet been fully implemented (although he launched it to establish "Shambala" to seize Japanese rule. 1) Why does Ishihara want to purge the IJA of conservatives and why does Tamogami refuse and resign despite being an ultranationalist as well? 2) Can you give the reason for each of the four Hokkaido government leaders to not join the OFN? 3) Would any faction not fight each other during stage II or stage III?
@sovii2852
@sovii2852 2 жыл бұрын
1) The conservatives of the IJA aren't fully into the ultranationalist agenda pushed by Ishihara, but they form the majority faction in the high ranks of the IJA. When Japan loses the war, Ishihara tries to use them as a scapegoat, accusing them of corruption or "lack of patriotism". That ends up failing miserably. Tamogami has a rare moment of sanity and realizes that going along with Ishihara's plan would be suicide, and decides to resign in a bid to get on the good side of the IJA, which succeeds. 2. The Progressives and Liberals want Japan to follow a neutral path on the world stage. They're sympathetic to the OFN and the US, but they see neutrality as the best way to ensure Japan has some degree of peace in the future. Muneo also wants neutrality, but for different reasons. He is more interested in the benefits of an alliance with China, and wants to keep the USSR happy so they won't come knocking on his door. The power vacuum in Japan's former colonies causes the OFN to gain a lot of allies in Asia, opening the road for a clash with the Soviets, and Muneo wants no part in that. As for Koike, she is a nationalist who still sees the US as a historic enemy. Even if she holds some sympathy for the US, she knows that her party wouldn't tolerate any attempts to improve relations with the OFN. 3. The only factions that are cordial to each other are the Yamaguchi Citizen's League and the Buraku Liberation League. The Burakumin help the Zainichi to rise up and work together initially, but because the lower ranks of the Burakumin are controlled by left-wing radicals, they end up splitting with the YCL over ideological reasons. Other than that, no, all factions see each other as illegitimate warlord states or tyrannical dictatorships. Stage III is total anarchy, basically, and the concept of compromise is long gone.

@sovii2852

This is a great question. I compiled a list here, not just for Naruhito but for the royal family as a whole. JCP (LeftComs and Yamakawists) - Either house arrest or exile. They definitely wouldn't want to keep the Imperial family in their palace though. I imagine they'd demolish it and force the royals to live like common citizens. I think the LeftComs would be a bit more extreme about limiting the royal family's freedoms. JCP (Moscow Left) - Jail, probably for the entire family. Kasai's JCP barely has any legitimacy in comparison to what the Emperor represents, so they'd want to keep them hidden from the public. JCP (Maoists) - Execution or jail. The Maoists are already deeply republican, so you can imagine what they'd do if they had Naruhito in their hands. Hokkaido (Progressives) - The status of the monarchy is in a sort of limbo after the Unification, but the Emperor could bridge a gap in the discussion because of his liberal views. Either way, i think Naruhito wouldn't object if the republicans won the tug of war, because he knows Japan would be in decent hands. Hokkaido (Liberals) - They'd strip the royals of their titles but allow them to live comfortably. Probably the best treatment they will get in this whole list. Anarchist Front (Toyama) - This one is tricky. Toyama turns towards Fascism later during his "rule", but his sense of Japanese nationalism comes more from a sense of ethnic nationalism than traditional Emperor-based nationalism. I'd say exile. Anarchist Front (Kurihara) - Stripped of their titles and property. I personally think Kurihara and the Emperor would get along. Both of them are reformers, and the position Kurihara finds himself in after the Unification mirrors Naruhito's struggle against the court. Either way, Kurihara would allow them to flee the country if they wished to do so. EAAJAF - Dead. Not much to say here, the Emperor is the face of Japanese identity, and the EAAJAF did assassinate a prince in this timeline. Naruhito would be on their sights. Ainu Moshiri - They keep the Emperor, but the Ekashi (Ainu Chief) gains some cultural significance in the North, possibly leading to a greater dispute or a dual monarchy in the future. NDA - The Emperor would probably be part of the interest group that pushes for a restoration of civilian government. He'd probably succeed once Taura retires, but the militaristic values would still be ingrained in Japanese society. Tohoku - Dead. The Emperor is already a reformist figure, so they wouldn't take their chances. IJN Government - Naruhito becomes completely powerless and is unable to do anything against the dictatorship he unintentionally helped to prop up in the first place. Kazoku (Court) - One of the gloomiest outcomes for Naruhito. He becomes a puppet to his own Advisors and the face of a royal dictatorship. His reputation is completely tarnished, he takes the blame for all of the actions done by his advisors, and he is completely isolated. IJA Government - Completely isolated from the public. The IJA would prevent him from contacting anyone outside of his family, and the few public appearances he'd make would be tightly-controlled. Sato's Clique - Similar situation to that of the regular IJA. Tamogami's Clique - The Imperial cult would probably be revived for the sole purpose of isolating the Emperor. "His Imperial Majesty is too holy to be seen by Commoners!" Kind of thing. They'd probably release jingoistic statements and claim they were said by Naruhito himself. Soka Gakkai - They would naturally be at odds with the Emperor. The state would instead try to replace the Imperial mythos with a personality cult to Daisaku Ikeda, but the royals wouldn't be persecuted; only their supporters. Hokkeko no Ran - Monarchy informally abolished, replaced by Nichiren cult as part of their conversion efforts. This would probably pave the way for religious uprisings or even another civil war. Kyoto (Nobuo) - Both Nobuo and Naruhito would be fallen kings trapped in their own castles. The bureaucrats hold so much power that Naruhito's attempts to slander the regime would fall on deaf ears. Kyoto (Abe) - Abe would probably try to get on the Emperor's good side and convince him that the state of emergency is necessary for Japan. Naruhito would be hesitant, but that would be he last bit of hope he'd have. Hiroshima - Naruhito would become disillusioned with the prospect of a truly democratic Japan and live the rest of his days as a silent Emperor. Burakumin - If Matsumoto turns rightwards and turns Japan into a Personalistic dictatorship, the Emperor is put back on the throne, but is forced to retire from his political life. If Matsumoto turns leftwards and becomes a Social Radical, he can coerce the Assembly into abolishing the monarchy as part of his own little cultural revolution. Keihanshin Directorate - the monarchy itself isn't abolished on paper, but in practice, the Directorate doesn't follow many formal structures of a nation-state. They're not a republic, a monarchy, nothing like that - just a corporate government. The royal family simply become another clan of former nobles that are slowly forgotten as Japan rapidly changes. Yamaguchi-gumi - Exiled. The kingpin brutally subjugates Japan and the royals want no part in that business. The NSL - They'd keep the Emperor, but he would be on thin ice. The Nazis already worship the Shogunate, so they wouldn't hesitate to abolish the monarchy completely if the Emperor dared to go against them. This would be another blow to the Shogunate's legitimacy and probably a crippling one. Aum Shinrikyo - Dead. Asahara wouldn't want someone so high up to challenge his authority. Naruhito would probably be killed in a gas attack as the cultists push into Tokyo. Happy Science - Exiled. Okawa basically crowns himself as the new Emperor and destroys any semblance of the old monarchy to make sure everything that came before him is forgotten. If you want any other faction, let me know. Glad you enjoyed :)

@sovii2852
@sovii2852 2 жыл бұрын
@@sentientham It's a custom flag! Usually i don't think too deep on what my flags mean, but i made this specific flag with a lot of care. At the base level, it has similar proportions to the unofficial White-Black-White Tokugawa flag. I played around with some traditional Japanese colors (taken from the obvious "Traditional colors of Japan" page on wikipedia) and settled for the regular purple color. That's where the name of the flag came from, Murasaki = Purple. I used a cherry blossom as a symbol in the white stripe. As for their meanings, the white represents peace and democracy. The purple represents Japanese history (see the paragraph under this for a better explanation) and the cherry blossom represents the beauty of Japan. The purple was tricky, because it's an unusual color to be used in national symbols, especially in Japan. What made things even more complicated is that it is largely associated with nobility, and not just in Japan. Fortunately, though, i read in a few places that it also used to represent the Samurai and warrior castes as a whole. Seeing as how Inoue's Republic idolizes the Ezo Republic, a government established by Samurai rebels, it's not difficult to imagine that the Samurai themselves would become a new symbol of the republic, and the purple color would symbolize this kind of historical narrative. Hope this explains everything!

(I hope you will not mention about EAAJAF, or Aum Shinrikyo, because it is obviously that they will kill everyone who stand on their way) 5) How does world react if EAAJAF wins the civil war? Especially China and Korea. 6) Why some sides became members in OFN, Comintern and Einheitspakt fastly, but other are becoming just observers? 7) How does each Soviet leader (Except Gorbachev) react if Revolutionary Japan wins? 8) If Gorbachev is leader of USSR, and USSR is either collapsed or transformed into USS, then what happens to Revolutionary Japan? 9) Which type of republic uses Japan under liberal party? (Hokkaido) 10) If Chugoku Clique or Kyushu Clique won the civil war, when would start 5th Sino-Japanese war? 1. Ishihara passed away after his resignation from natural causes. As for the other candidates, they flee from Japan after Ishihara takes power or when the civil war begins. An example of the former would be Edano and Tetsuzo Fuwa, as both of them are opposition leaders and become the first targets of Ishihara's regime. Edano likely flees to the US, and Fuwa likely flees to Taiwan, along with the rest of the Labor-Farmer Mass Party. The party later dissolves and its members are radicalized, later joining the Yamakawist wing of the JCP when the civil war begins. Both Fuwa and Edano give up on their political careers by the time the civil war begins. As for Tanigaki and the Heisei Democrats, the CLP is forced into a coalition with Ishihara when the war against China begins, turning Japan into a de facto one-party state. When the civil war begins, the Heisei Democrats move to Hiroshima, where they aid the Prefectural Government. Tanigaki actually stays in Japan as well, I imagine he flees to Hokkaido and retires from his political life. 2. The Opposition collapses because of a conflict between the Liberals and the Communists. The Communists are able to form a stronghold in Tohoku, where the populace is largely dissatisfied with the status quo thanks to the disastrous effects of the 2011 Earthquake and the poor government response to it, and Kan is unable to deal with the Communists on equal grounds and keep them at bay. When the Communists try to remove Kan and fail, Ozawa launches his own coup, leading to Hokkaido's separation and the collapse of the Opposition. As for the IJA Government, they are torn apart by internal strife between Tamogami and Sato, both of whom are popular in the lower ranks of the IJA and despise the conservative brass. Eventually, the IJA splits between Sato and Tamogami and begin to fight each other, at which point the House of Representatives in Kyoto declares the IJA Government to be illegitimate and dissolves it. 3. There are some bits and pieces in the descriptions and event screens that talk about a "Resource War". The idea here is that Hokkaido is largely isolated and struggling to maintain the populace fed. There isn't enough arable land, and the massive number of migrants from the South trying to flee from the war only makes it worse. If Hokkaido is unable to push into Tohoku and secure a foothold, it won't be able to sustain itself and it will collapse completely, at which point the NDA will coup the government, the EAAJAF will cross into Hokkaido from Communist territory and take Sapporo in the chaos, and the Ainu will revolt with the help some desperate Japanese farmers. 4. Imprisonment or exile, in some cases, execution. It depends on who is being executed and who is doing the execution. It's vastly different, but I'd say most of them would just get house arrest, jail time, or exile. But some of the more openly right-wing leaders like Murai and Abe would have it worse, I'd say. I can imagine the communists would have a field day with them before they put a bullet in their heads. 5. With horror, as you'd imagine. China and Korea would probably be part of a coalition to liberate Japan from the EAAJAF. They'd be hit hard by the immigrant wave from Japan and would try to put an end to the EAAJAF as soon as possible. 6. Some regimes have special territorial interests or unique quirks that prevent them from being full members. For example, Murai wants to be on good terms with the OFN, but doesn't want to give up Japan's gains in the Pacific. So until he can strike a deal with the OFN, Japan remains an observer. Communist Japan under the Yamakawists follows a drastically different political system in comparison to the one-party Leninist model pushed by the Comintern, so their entry into the Comintern is slow and filled with controversy. Kazunari's Shogunate wants to join the Pakt, but that contradicts their official policy of Isolationism, and they follow Orthodox National Socialism while the Germans follow Speer's model. As for the ones that join quickly, their forms of government, political stances, or diplomatic interests match that of the faction leader, and they're quickly accepted into the faction. 7. Ryzhkov would be indifferent to Japan's political stances, but he'd still try to maintain appearances. In his eyes, having Japan as a one-party Leninist state would be more beneficial to the Comintern as a whole. Semigin would be more concerned with pushing for the NEP to be expanded and would try to convince the leadership to take a more liberal economic approach. Patrushev would be radically opposed to any kind of democratic stance, and would force the Comintern to take a militant stance against anti-Leninism. Zyuganov would want a Leninist Japan and would refuse to return Sakhalin and the Kurils. Buzgalin would be friendly towards the Yamakawists, but would lend support to the Bukharinists if it meant Japan's revolution could be more secure. 8. Revolutionary Japan would be crippled without Soviet support. The Bukharinists would have little to no chance to take power. Their only chance would be the Maoists or Left Communists. The Maoists take extreme measures to make sure the Revolution is won, and the LeftComs don't rely on any kind of foreign aid. 9. The ROJ established by Inoue is inspired by the old French Republic with some elements of American-style Federalism. The only unique part here is the democratic model, Inoue reforms Japan's democracy to be more participatory and deliberative, so it relies a lot on the legislative body and on popular input. 10. In spite of their hawkish anti-China stances, I think it's unlikely they'd try to start another war. Under Tamogami, Japan is practically destroyed and has no prospects of growth, so it's more likely that it will degrade into an isolated, militaristic one-party dictatorship with echoes of North Korea. As for Sato, he eventually becomes more moderate and is hesitant to wage war with China, instead preferring to spread his Pan-Asian ideology through soft power. This would probably boil down to a regional cold war between Japan and the new China. This was quite long, but i hope that answers it! I'm glad you enjoyed :)
