That first hinted at Shepherd's true nature - a ruthless tyrant who'd stop at nothing to achieve his goals. Then Price managed to deduce Shepherd's motive in the transmission before Contingency. Shepherd mentioned being willing to always do what was necessary to win, yet he denied Price's request to go through with the mission that would eventually save the lives of hundreds of Army Rangers defending Washington D.C. The MW2 campaign was subtle and tense. This is what makes a true Call of Duty campaign.

This briefing speech from Price is a testament to how much love and thought cod campaigns once got from their developers. This is a bone chilling monologue and probably top3 speeches in gaming history period. I could start crying looking at what they have done to my beloved franchise. They replaced them with OpFor in Afghan and Scrapyard and battle is against TF141. Then Rangers fighting OpFor in Invasion. And Navy Seals fighting OpFor in Karachi. OpFor was more shine in MP when in campaign they were present only in 1 mission. Shadow Company has similar suit to Rangers and maybe this is why they are not in multiplayer. But other reason could be If Shadow Company could be placed to multiplayer,then there should be also 1 more faction to balance amount of good factions with enemy factions. So instead of 3 vs 3 would be 4 vs 4 Rangers. Spetsnaz TF141. Shadow Company Navy Seals. vs. OpFor ? Brazilian Militia
