The pacing and the animation, even if slide cancelling is no more and it's a bit slower as players say, the animation looks too fast forwarded like a charlie chaplin movie. But then 2022 sure has got some sick cutscenes and cheeky inspect animations.

i loved the radio people so much in 2019. it sounds like a legit military op and the voices are super cool sounding with that static in the background along with some other people talking in the background. mw2's radio operators sound boring

I really liked the harrier pilot and apache pilots, the way the harrier pilot actually sounded like he was scared when he got shot down made you feel really bad for the guy and the apache pilot's callouts were so funny. You just don't see that in MW2

I like the realistic touch of MW2019 more, it's a more serious game, but it must be said, wow, two graphic beasts were made by Infinity Ward, they raised the standard a lot in Call Of Duty and shooters in general

Fun Fact: MGB is not a Nuke, MGB or Mass Guided Bomb only destroys one place unlike nuke it destroys one Country. This is the missle type which Graves and Ghost used to kill Ghorbani

It still manages to be even more horrifying than the MW19 NUKE just because of that end screen. You are literally dead/dying staring out in the field of debris left by multiple bombs. And that feels a lot more visceral than a simple mushroom cloud.

Me personally, I’m just more of a fan of mw2019. The graphics, the simplicity, and the weapons were amazing. Maps were not there ofc. But for mw2022, it just looks off. I think of it like this: infinity ward said “alright I got my story, I got my weapons, I got my animations”. Sledgehammer said “I’ll give you my UI”. Treyarch said “I’ll give you my graphics”. It’s still a fun game but just looks and gameplay wise, it feels weird. That’s just my opinion.

(MW2 doesn’t) MW2019: Gun icons on killfeed are more detailed. White phosphorus > SAE Watch inspect > Gun screen Maybe I’m just knit picking but I noticed all those details that are not present in MW2. Loved the Grittiness of MW2019. Weapons felt like they packed a punch more and just the overall aesthetic is better than MW2. Thank you for this video though. Made me realize what a true gem MW2019 is 💙

I like modern warfare killstreaks more. The UAV for example he presses his push to talk on his shoulder and calls for a UAV, whereas in mw2 he pulls both some little tikes cell phone and pushes a button. Same thing with the rest of the killstreaks that use some type of tablet device, just looked better in mw 2019. Also the gunship is so underwhelming in mw2. Is quiet! I remember hearing the guns firing off in the distance and echoing down, then a short delay and explosions and a hail of bullets on the ground. In mw2 the gunship sounds like normal explosions like grenades on the ground and bullets hitting. I wish it struck more fear into those on the ground as a reward for being such a high killstreak. I have to mention the counter UAV which was forgotten in the video. It is useless in mw2 it’s a 5 killstreaks and hovers in one spot 20 feet above the map, and can be taken down in 5 bullets MINIMUM from even a handgun.

I don’t like the 105 MM change to a guided missile for the AC130. But I guess they are always trying to simply gameplay. The idea of firing at an area while switching to another quickly with the 40 MM is a skill that 2008 veterans will miss.

Honestly have to say, I think the mw2019 gunship is better than the mw2022 gunship. With the 105mm and the 25mm shooting straight compared to mw2022 with a missile instead of 105 (could've just brought back the reaper instead with missiles) plus just feels out of place. and the 25mm spraying which loses the precision it was meant to be used for.

To me the mw2 aesthetic is a bit too high-tech and future-y compared to mw2019's actual modern aesthetic. Mw2 acts like everyone uses the most modern to-date and experimental equipment whereas mw2019 recognizes that some elements of uniforms, killstreaks, etc are gonna be a bit older and grounded in tech that has been time tested. Like for example the M4 in MW2019 was a MK18 which is a model that has been used IRL by SF for around a decade, whereas MW2's looks like some cheap polymer airsoft knockoff of a Geissel M4. And the operators look extremely cheesy, like half of them skipped the launch skins and went straight into season 4 battlepass goofiness. I wish they had kept the aesthetic closer to mw2019 while incorporating some of the newer elements like the newer sights (an actual ACOG), reciever system but with the real names of the guns, the JLTV, trucks, etc. That and the focus on middle eastern maps seems outdated even for a modern warfare game, they should've stuck to eastern europe, meshes better with a true modern aesthetic IMO.
