An update! Earlier today it was announced that Modern Warfare 2 camos will not only transfer *BUT WILL BE USABLE ON MODERN WARFARE 3 WEAPONS* as well (only exceptions seemingly being Gold, Platinum, Polyatomic and Orion)! So assuming nothing changes again, it seems things like the Ghoulie camo will be usable on MW3 weapons day 1!

I really hope we get more than just "Moderate fire rate and recoil, this Assasult Rifle excels at mid to long range" all year. Give us Hyperburst ARs like the AN-94, Full-Auto Snipers like the VSS Vintorez, just stuff that isn't a fast firing SMG, a Bolt Action Sniper Rifle, because that's all we got in MWII...

Nerfing the MW2 weapons compared to MW3 would make it pay to win in Warzone and force players to pay for MW3. So that better not happen and it would also make all the MW2 guns nearly useless. Because all MW3 will just be META anyway. If they do it correctly all guns will have some viability. Of course META will always happen. But I don't want any deliberate nerfing of MW2 guns.

I'm bummed that they got rid of tuning. I've become a pro at tuning and almost dependent on it as i can totally tell when a weapon is properly tuned or not. You can make a weapon that has all "ADS" attachments on them and tune them for recoil control. I'm upset that now I'm just going to have to mix and match some ADS attachments with some recoil attachments to achieve this. Whereas before, like I said, I can attach all "fast handling" attachments and tune for speed and recoil at the same time. If you didn't tune your muzzle attachments for recoil control on the bottom and faster ADS on the left, they were total garbage. Now i have to use a muzzle and an underbarrel grip made for recoil control just to get that same effect. A total step backwards.

There will be 1:1 weapon parity so if you complete the raid camos after MW3 is out, it will transfer from when you earned it onward and be usable (on MW2 weapons) in MW3

One side is for speed and mobility and the other side is for recoil control and stability. You can tune all the way for speed and maxed out for recoil and tune a shitty attachment into an absolute beast. I'm upset that now I'm just going to have to mix and match some ADS attachments with some recoil attachments to achieve this never fully getting the desired movement and stability I had in MWII. Whereas before, like I said, I can attach all "fast handling" attachments and tune for speed on one side and recoil on the ither side at the same time. If you didn't tune your muzzle attachments for recoil control on the bottom and faster ADS on the left, they were total garbage. Now we have to use a muzzle for only recoil and an underbarrel grip made for recoil control as well without getting any ADS advantage effect. You don't have the ability to customize your attachments which I feel A total step backwards. I also had specific builds that I had built for velocity ages further tuned them for MORE velocity and they would get at least 15%-25% more velocity than what Exclusive Ace was showing in his reviews. There was a huge skill gap that was given to those who took their time in the firing range and private matches just tuning the attachments to get the best results. I had a ton of fun figuring all of this out and now it's just wasted time 😢
