It's worth noting that any killstreaks that auto-target and shoot (overwatch helo, VTOL, sentry gun etc) will not fire at all if you keep shooting this at them.

Chopper gunner glitch was a flashback for me to old school chopper gunner UI glitches. You used to be able to roam a map with that vision and see any non-ghosted players. Kind of like a built in wall hack.

This appears to be somehow related with how long the player is EMP'd and unable to do move and the timer not matching up with the animation of the killstreak cause the game is not used to being EMP'd constantly. When he got stunned with the AC130 it flashed every time; he kept getting flashed afterwards for a few more seconds before it stopped flashing cause the killstreak was still in the air and other guy was still flashing lmao

The stormender damages zombies just slightly and never runs out of ammo. It’s great for zombies missions that require you to hit them with status effects like using cryo on the dogs. Its range lets you safely hit the same zombies repeatedly too from forever away.

Slightly?? Get this PAP'd into lv 2 or 3 and you'll be one shotting all zombies Tier 1-2 and taking 2 shots in Tier 3. Not to mention the way it shoots enemies, the actual blast covers you in a spherical way. You can shoot on the ground and zombies behind you will die. Againt special zombies, they will also get affected as long as they are an open world special zombies and not based on a contract or mission. It's supremely good for being a gun with unlimited ammo

I believe this weapon was based off of a few real-life drone guns that had the capability to jam small electronics up to a recon drone. They blast a cone of electromagnetic waves with each shot. Maybe this is why it feels like a hitscan weapon and can hit at absurdly long ranges? This is also probably why the Frag Grenade and the Decoys weren't affected - no electronics. On a sidenote, the real-life drone guns only had the capacity to take out small electronics. Anything even remotely close to a Sentry Gun or a Chopper Gunner wouldn't damage them at all. And the drone guns were hefty shoulder-mounted weapons, not like the Stormender which feels as light as a feather. If that had existed, we'd already be moving on from drones real quick.

@@Etrius_Fysik All of the visible elements from both the regular and scorestreak HUDs would become glitchy if EMP'd probably. But the effect wouldn't really be "doubled," on each individual HUD element there would still be the same amount of distortion as there would be without the bug.

The best part about this gun is that you can actually destroy equipment through walls. Like popping trophies on an enemy held objective point without engaging in a firefight. It does have its niche

Yeah my friend and I tested it if it could kill. We set the health to 1 and it killed us and it has spread like a shotgun and surprisingly can go through walls to kill someone. We then set the health to 20 with no health revenue to do a test of how much damage it does and it took 20 shots equal to one damage

I do like the fact that the chopper gunner "downing" animation is different and the pilot isnt dead until the crash, unlike when it ish shot down instead of EMP'd

i've been using it as the only person in my lobby and the enemies don't get to have streaks EVER it's insane. I can't imagine a team of 6 whipping these out when you get a gunship or something and they kill you in 5 seconds lol

That seems like it was just a visual issue, the actual controls just went back to regular player controls. So probably not.

@@aj5twizzy Maybe, but I doubt it. The thermal vision isn't a HUD element like the gunship's UI is, so I doubt it would also carry over. Plus the pilot's death has to play and I'm pretty sure that disables thermal regardless. (Also fun fact the death animation changes depending on how the Chopper Gunner is killed. This isn't really relevant but it sure is neat)

The thing with the Stormender is that it is a EMP gun it has a certain radius so that is why you couldn’t shoot 154m, but could shoot 153m as the energy dissipated and it only works on equipment, killstreaks, and field upgrades that use electricity like the like how it worked on C4 which is a remote detonated explosive yet didn’t work on a frag as a frag is a fuse, when you pull that pin and release the lever/arm, whatever you call it, it starts the fuse.

It is fun to play with and is my go to secondary now that I have camoed them all. I am a support player and I love that it pauses the firing of the choppers.

7:59 the upside of the shots against the Helo and the VTOL is that each shot prevents them from attacking your team for a couple of seconds. So it might take you 15 seconds to bring it down, but that’s 15 seconds that your teammates aren’t pinged, and aren’t ducking for cover. And no reload animations.

The reason the weapon is hitscan is because it literally doesn't fire a projectile. It fires a bolt of electricity, which travels fast and without any real drop or anything, so there's no point in calculating any of that stuff when it would effectively be hitscan anyways. That's also why things like the frag grenade and inflatable decoy aren't affected: They're not electronic devices so there's nothing for the bolt to fuck with. (Also it's based on a real thing believe it or not)

Stormender is a weapon that is a thing IRL, they fitted an AR-15 with EMP stuff, so they can shoot down small drones and what not... It's not meant to be powerful, however.... If you take Storm ender into zombies and pack it to level 3 with legendary tool on it... You can one shot tier 1 zombies, not just can you one shot 1, but you can one shot a full bunch of 15 with one click

Reminds me of the P-06 from black ops 3, a burst fire sniper rifle that I nick named the "piece of shixt" but once you realize that with fmj it would one burst UAV's even with a suppressor it was faster than launchers and could still be used against other players. This Emp gun would have been interesting if you could just charge it up for harder hitting shots or even better lethality against players instead of just a debuff gun. But love it none the less.

The reason why the shield and the grenade and the decoy didn't work was because of them not having electrical parts. It shoots emp's and emp's short circuits electrical components. Grenades are just gunpowder with a fuse in it. The c4 blew up because it uses electrical components to explore de it

Honestly this gun is so much fun and kinda underrated. If you have a good primary weapon that you’re really good with, and are using this as a secondary with the engineer vest it’s awesome. You can get high kills with your primary and take out almost every killstreak and piece of equipment the enemy team throws at you. Downside of this class is obviously no fall back weapon or lethals, but you can save a lot of deaths in a game shooting down these killstreaks. You can also kill players with their own prox mines and stuff if they’re camping close enough to it so that’s fun. I’ve been running it a lot recently and it’s been great. All I can think is how frustrating it must be for the opposing players never getting to use their killstreaks 😂😂

Remember, this is designed after a specific weapon, I think, in Ukraine or something to counter the Russians using the same tactic the Ukrainians are using with small quad drones that drop mortars its NOT intended to be used on something like a Cobra or Hind let alone an AC-130 or armored tanks that's where you reach its limit, idk why it's useless against the swarm maybe its not equipped for that amount of drones

most fun thing with the stormender was when my friend and I did a 1v1 with hp set to 1 using it. Just know that eod makes it so you don't die to it lol.

Additional information for stormender: Stormender actually shoots it's projectile like RPG, and likely without any bullet drop. You can observe this by firing it and then immediately ping it, tested in warzone. Also tested in warzone: it doesn't kill the redeploy drone, and it can't EMP vehicles being driven by players. Also the range it can kill a counter UAV is absurd, it can kill one from up to 2 kilometers (tested when I was destroying one on orlov when I was in the city. Additionally, in zombies, this is a very unique weapon as it damages all zombies along the path. Pack-a-punching this thing to level 3 and bringing it back to level 1 area feels like you're holding an eradicator beam as it sweeps everything in the path. This ofc also damages special & elite zombies. Contrary to warzone, cars being driven by AI bots are easily damaged.

Important notes regarding the weapon ‼️‼️ They only destroy if you directly shoot at the trophy system. They will still counter if you shoot around from it but it won't count if done directly at the it. Also, when the gun stuns killstreaks and equipment, it last 5 seconds before it goes back to normal. You can keep spamming to reset the 5s timer or keep the vehicle busy while you're running around to a safe spot.

For the killstreaks that took many shots to destroy, I think it still works against those. I think it’s not supposed to do much damage to them, but to stun them because the Heli didn’t shoot at you once while you were shooting it

The gun might have a damage falloff at range, over 153m it could deal less than 1 damage to players which wouldn't even register as a hit, while it does more damage to killstreaks obviously which would explain why it can hit the gunship but does really little damage to it, idk how they coded the game tho

So the glitched out HUD from the chopper gunner wasn’t just because you got EMPed. When I got the chopper gunner and it got destroyed regularly the same hud was on my screen, it’s not just the stormender that causes this

So the reason you can't use it on the decoy sheild and frag is because they don't have any electrical components their all manual moving parts no electrical parts to disrupt The decoy is just a balloon in a crate that pops out when it opens The sheilds you open manually The frag is just a delayed firing pin igniting gunpowder in an inclosed space And the other streaks are possibly either supposed to be too fast to be hit or are me to be sheilded against emp's the sheilding also probably being why some streaks take more hits them others

Can’t the trophy system still stop the shot tho? I had times where I got an indication that it stopped the shot when it shouldn’t given it’s basically a more futuristic anti drone weapon. Also can it go through walls, at least if you stand close?
