If you can consistently hit head/upper body then the dragunov is one of the best snipers in this game simply because of it's ability to kill more people faster than the other snipers. This combined with the Plague Sore variant and the Dragunov destroys people if you're accurate

When I was in the Army I always had trouble hitting those fast targets. Who knew that all I needed was some bumpy tape on my pistol grip and I could lower my ADS? I think I'm going to send some Care packages to my fellow soldiers downrange...

Most test I've seen say the AX-50 is about 50ms faster than the HDR, but I've seen some testing that shows the HDR being about 50ms faster than the AX-50. After using both a lot with max ADS I think the HDR is accurate way before the scoping animation is done, but for me the main decider is if I need the AX-50's higher fire rate (AX-50 about 15% faster ROF), if not then I go the HDR. The HDR should probably be given 6 shots.

The Dragunov is my favorite of the bunch, odd as that is. I run it with the 660mm barrel, tac laser, cqc stock, 15rd mag and focus. You really have to hit those upper torso shots or things go downhill quickly.

Hey I commented on your all weapons list and I agree with your sniper list! But your marksman rifle list I don’t agree with 🥺 1. I’d put the Kar98k up here as it hits one shots more consistently and if you don’t use a barrel (which you don’t need to) then it shoots quite a bit faster and then you can put on sleight of hand or any other perk 2. MK2 - this is in the 2 spot as it does not hit one shots as consistently and the fire rate being faster I find does not sign help it as the time it takes to track to your next enemy (unless all lines up) mostly neglects the difference between the Kar and the MK2 3. EBR gets only 1 shots to the head and two to the body where as the other two have bigger 1 shot zones. It’s faster fire rate helps the gun out and it’s damage fall off is nice but only really useful if you’re playing on LARGE maps

Dragunov is underrated, It has a bigger 1hit kill zone than the MK2, but smaller than the Kar98k. It will ADS faster than the AX-50 or HDR, but slower than the Kar98k. It has the highest fie rate & by far biggest clip of the snipers.

Personally, I am kinda a sniper camper who just pops heads from half a mile away. I also prefer semi auto fire, so the enemy can't hop behind cover and escaping if the first shot doesn't kill or if I miss. But I am not experienced in this. Surely i cant be the only person that loves the dragunov ? 3.25 sight + monolithic suppressor and youve got yourself the most consistent 1 shot marksman rifle, sure it has slow ADS but run it as a secondary on overkill with an SMG and now you can counter snipe or check the longer sightlines for some easy picks.... terrible primary weapon, but a great secondary one that bridges the gap between sniper and marksman.

The EBR14 is by far the best marksman rifle in the game. The versatility is insane. You can make it anything you want it to be. I have several blueprints for it depending on the game mode and I have the highest number of kills with it out of all my weapons.

If your having trouble unlocking camos for any of these my biggest suggestion is to play hardcore as all of them are essentially one shot in hardcore makes things quite a bit easier

For me, in HC sniper damage is even less relevant than in COR & the slow fire rate/low ammo is more of a hindrance. Right now I'd say play Rust, also Shoot house & Shipment are good for me.

What I've tried I do like the Dragunov best, just because it's not that awkward 1 shot reload, if I miss my shot with say HDR I'm in a lot of shit because I have to do the reload. I can see that HDR and the AX-50 becoming alot better for me once my aim gets better

For the Kar you should not put a barrel on it. Tac Laser, Stippled Grip Tape, Sniper Scope, Ftac Comb Stock, and Focus Perk. And I would put it at #1 for Marksman. Edit: I would flip the order for an agressive sniper.

I have platinum snipers and I’m not too shabby in shoothouse with any of the snipers but the ax-50 with focus, the ads movement speed stock; I believe the singuard arms evader stock, 17.0 inch barrel, tac laser, and grip tape of the stippled variety. The ads movement speed stock allows you to preaim corners and walk quicker than people expect to you to be moving as you are sniping. You don’t need the 1 or 2 extra frames from the assassin barrel in my humble opinion if you are just quicker on the draw, also for follow up shots the assassin stock feels like it zooms in too fast and I’m always still waiting on the bolt to rack and I’ll to and pull the trigger too fast, basically what I’m saying is the evader stock feels like a better less choppy pace for hitting clips. But regardless the ax-50 in 6v6 plants enemies like seeds quick scoping

At MK2 Carbine. Along with sleight of hand, you can fire while holding reload. Its to me quite fast enough that you dont feel like reloading while using your reserves.

I'm going to start getting Gold with snipers this weekend. I've tried on Marksman rifles but longshots on the mk2 is hard idk why. I have Gold on the kar but no other sniper or Marksman. My ax50 and hdr are close to getting Gold tho

I prefer the Dragunov to the other snipers, I use the AX-50 more, but because the Dragunov is semi-auto I find it better for taking out multiple people.

I like the kar98k because its feels like the most like sniper its not heavy even though it has less damage what do you expect from a gun from 1930-40s.

I don't like sniping that much in this game, but I have to admit I do pretty well with the AX-50. The 17" (I think?) barrel (or the Pro barrel for 10v10 maps) , Scout Scope, Assassin stock, stippled grip tape, and Focus perk (a must for any sniper rifle, IMO). Range and ADS speed ftw. I took off the regular scope for 2 reasons: I normally play the smaller maps (I suck at ground war, lmao), and any scope above 4x magnification has the stupid flashlight effect that gives away your position like, "Hey! Over here! Shoot me!!" Lol it's so dumb.

I strictly play HC so for me all these rankings are backwards. In HC the dragonov and the kar are great picks cause the damage isnt a big deal cause one shot does the trick even at long ranges.
