Modern Warships- How it works #1 Detection system!

Two most important things I've learnt from watching this video. 1. If your team doesn't consist of an Air Craft Carrier, then immediately send your fastest "Chopper" to the enemy lines detecting them before they detect you. That way, your entire team will spot them, unless the enemy sends planes from their Carrier to spot you before you do. 2. If your "SPOTTED" simply hide behind an object, a mountain or something for about a minute and you have the advantage of stealth mode again. Furthermore, something i picked up on my own from other sources is that the most basic thing to hide your destroyer is to paint it to blend in to the background. Like grey makes a ship harder to spot in the diatance. Grey helps them to blend in where the sky meets the sea. Especially in the rainy stages like storm or islands of iceland. Use ships that have a large surface on top of it that is angled upwards like the Zumwult because, this design is meant to reflect enemy radar pulses up in to the air instead of going back to the enemy ship for detection. The USS Port Royal and Vella Gulf have similar shapes. Their good at reflecting radar pulses away from the enemy ships because of its shape. It's angular build makes it so much harder to detect as compared to a non stealth ship. The key here is that ships with rounded areas are easily detected because it's hard to angle themselves to reflect the signal to a different direction rather, the receiver will go back to the enemy ship and you will be detected. The Zumwult has no rounded edges, all the lines on the Zumwult are sharp, no curvy edges. For this reason, the Zumwult will appear extremely small on the radar.

i have a doubt menger. i have downloaded the game on may 12 and bought the alreigh burke and armed it with cj 20 and brahmos. this combination works good like you said. i have a phalanx and one ghibka for air defence should i change them to get better or is it okk and i can continue.

As a Battleship player, if you hear the sound in 0:46 and still have no clue about the whereabout of the enemy, its a VERY VERY IMPORTANT THING to hide behind an Obstacles, or else that flare will run out before you even realized it

see the map the green circle.. if someone comes inside that circle it can be seen.. which means green circle represents detection range while outside white circle i.e. border of the map are your radar range you can see a red spot on map if a enemy comes near that range but it can be detected and ready to be targeted only if it is either spotted by friendly planes/helis or comes inside that green circle.. while blue circle represents sonar..

The detection system is not consistent and has some bugs, sometimes you get spotted for no reason, even when the enemies and their aircraft are very far, like 9km away. Sometimes you don't disappear when you should, like hiding behind a rock with no aircraft or ship close, even wheb they are close you should disappear (that happens a lot) but sometimes you don't.

As today I'm having the exact same issues with detection. There is clearly flaw on that... I commented on FB group but not sure if devs are concearned about it. Maybe is just another cheat...

Sometimes the enemy is 3km away and still doesn't show on my radar.. They aren't hiding behind anything either.

Yeah maybe. I have tested this with my submarine. I got detected for no reason when hidig behind obstacle while emerged for no reason ( Yeah enemy radar can detect waterline ). But if I submerge, Im lost from their radar sight ( This is not suppose to happen if I got detected by ship/helicopter/aircraft )
