You can go for a Gsus as the V chord in the key of C. It keeps the C note on the B string as a common tone with the I and IV chords..

Sus means Suspended. The 4th note of the scale replaces the 3 note. On a Suspended 2 chord, the 2nd note of the scale replaces the 3 note. Anytime you see Sus... it has to do with the 3rd note of the scale.

Great stuff. What i like to do sometimes on the G and C keys is slide the 4th two frets up to the 5th. So keeping the fingering for C, you would slide it up two frets and get a D. Same from F to G
