This sermon reminds me of a Cody Johnson lyric from the song Make Me A Mop - “Lord, make me a spoon, smooth on the edges, when my words want to reach for a knife”. Simple reminder that words can, and often do hurt.

D on’t like the F. Word in Ted lasso,,,, an occasional F word in the movie is fine, but Ted Lasso it’s almost like every other word and it’s becoming normalized among our youth, which is sad to me because Isiah the prophet knew that profanity was wrong when he said “Lord, ,I am a man of unclean lips… And the F word is reflective of unclean lips of a negative heart… I like Adam very much, but I think he chooses some very bad movies or programs to portray a certain concept… Just because a movie is popular does not mean that they are edifying in terms of our spiritual character. Certainly is not what Jesus wants us to use in our lives in our hearts, Jesus said your speech reveals your heart… Will we be using the F word in front of Jesus or the holy angels ?absolutely not! If we honest with ourselves we won’t use the F word here….i don’t think programs like Lasso should be watched, if you wish to keep your spirit clean 🧽..garbage in garbage out

Absolutely not when you watch program like this the profanity becomes complacently absorbed into your spirit just by way of watching you accepted and accepting it, you are not, calling it out as wrong, which it is, using the F word is profanity and unacceptable to Jesus and the holy angels it won’t have a place in heaven so we should have a place here, let’s stand up turn these programs off and stop using the Fword from our mouths if we are using it. Do teachers use the F word in classrooms, do pastors use the F word in sermons ? enough said, it’s wrong to embrace this kind of language.
