I still listen to this on a regular basis in 2022. Especially Through The Worlds. Amazing track. The pumping on this mix is really unique too.

How is your downpicking so good? It's literally the best out of the all of the other players I've seen, even better than that of John Browne from Monuments. And your leads are also spot on... Literally you are one of the scariest guitar players I've ever seen. Your hands must be Skervesen as well; extreme precision and craftmanship on God's part for making those hands, lol.

+Hiren Saravana It does seem impressive, but i just don't get the vibe that he's killing the guitar right on the spot.
@HirenSaravanaMusic9 жыл бұрын
True, this guy is definitely more centered around his technique on one string with downpicking. John Browne's technique is more expansive; he's able to downpick relatively quickly across multiple strings. I guess that's what you mean by killing the guitar on the spot.
@greyhoundweltall9 жыл бұрын
+Hiren Saravana nah, i just mean the visuals: when you look at John Browne it looks like he hits the guitar with so much sheer force, he's trying to kill it - the others, not so much; skill-wise i'd say they are similar, the speed and precision are over-the-top
@HirenSaravanaMusic9 жыл бұрын
Definitely man, haha. Browne is ferocious with his guitars. It kind of has a different sound as well when you can hear that much attack, which is why I love Monuments a lot.

Sounds good just doesn't have that "space oriented" feel that I loved so much on Travelers but still an amazing work of art. I've been convinced for the past 3 years that Djent is the future of music and with artists like you guys, Animals As Leaders, kindve Periphery (not so much anymore) and literally thousands of other acts at the forefront of this movement I still feel that way. Keep it up I'm a fan for life!!!
