I make a strawberry mash as a dessert from the Costco frozen strawberries. I don't know if you can have stevia on whole 30 but I simply thaw the strawberries and mash them roughly and stir in some pure organic stevia. So delicious and still tastes fresh. I used this to help my sweet craving when I was doing carnivore for long term. I did 30 days hardcore and then 8 months still pretty strict but I did reintroduce coffee, stevia and strawberries. It cured my health issues! 😄

i made myself a berry salad this week for work - got 3 different colored grapes, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries...then took a block of cream cheese, thinned it out with a little milk, then added a tub of cool whip and a bit of Swerve Powdered Sugar...topped the "salad" with crushed pecans and omg...it's addicting

Hi Jessica and sweet family! I’m praying that Aaron’s health problems improve with this carnivore program. I love whole 30 and I pretty much follow it. Pork rinds are fantastic for a bread substitute for a filler in meatloaf or meatballs too. I don’t drink sodas and haven’t for years now. I can’t wait to see what you fix for your meals. I hope everyone has a very blessed week!

Years ago I followed the notorious Atkins diet. I feel a lot of the detractors of the diet have never read what it’s about and were assuming it was all protein. I ate better then than I ever have in my life! Plenty of the right fruits and vegetables and cheese and meat. I found recipes deserts that used almond flour and breads that used egg whites as the leavening. My blood tests were so good, the doctor asked me to get my husband to try it! I lost weight and was never hungry. Unfortunately, I only stayed with it about a year. I like to cook and bake too much!

Wishing you and Aaron all the success! I switched to the Mediterranean Diet way of eating a couple months back and I can so relate to how much more it costs to eat healthy. LOL I've been growing as much as I can in here, but, there are still fresh things I need to purchase during the winter. I've recently started eating primarily vegetarian adding fish and chicken on occasion due to digestive issues. My goal this summer with the garden is to grow 75% of our veggies and some fruits (berries mostly since our fruit trees are still young). We raise our own chickens and rabbits, and purchase our beef and pork from local farmers. If you don't already, check out The Justin Rhodes Show. He does carnivore. I can't wait to follow your and Aaron's journey's! ~ Stephanie

I follow a couple that has been on the carnivore/no carb diet for over a year now and he is doing amazing. He has lost over 100 pounds. I have never looked but apparently there are websites out there that guide you to eating out (what at where). He eats a lot at Texas Roadhouse and BBQ places. No sauces though and does the dry rubs. He gets McDonalds on occasion and does the double quarter pounder with no bun or condiments. He says better that you think and just try's to accommodate other family members too so they can eat together on the occasion they eat fast food which isn't often. They actually get very creative with a lot of things they make. I have never heard of the one you are doing but very interested in learning more as I do think I may have a food sensitivity or two and need to figure it out. Looking forward to upcoming videos!

Years ago I did a protein diet that you ate lots of meats, eggs and cheese plus lots of green vegetables. I think it's the best diet because you still need the greens in your diet. I lost over 30 pounds in a couple of months. Was able to come off blood pressure medication ( my doctor did monitor me during this and helped me cut down until I didn't need it) plus I felt better than I ever had. I should probably do that diet again. Hope Aaron feels better. The first week is the hardest because your body goes through a sugar crash from mo carbs.

So nice to hear that you guys are taking your health back. I have been on a dirty carnivore for 8 months and I have lost 100lbs. It has changed my life. I feel better than I did on my 30s. I am still on meds for my heart but I personally have to monitor my blood pressure so I don't get too low. Take measurements and before pictures so you can see the difference. I measure waist, arms, legs, and hips. Maybe for a guy measure chest instead of hips.

My guess is slice the potato, bake or air fry till crisp. Then pile the filling on top. You would probably have as open sandwich or you could top with other potato slice.

I do love your shopping forays! I wish that we had a Costco near us so I could compare it to Sam’s which we do have. I have use pork rinds as breading for years as Hubby has Type 2 Diabetes. We cannot see a difference in flavor from the bread based breading. Texture wise I find it to be between regular and panko breading. Can you touch on how Aaron plans to get the vitamins such as A and C which for the most part come from eating veggies and fruits. Will he take supplements? I hope that you will video for us some of the recipes you use for both the Whole 30 and Carnivore regimens.

Once your off the whole30. You could try making bean burgers. I make my own chilli beans with pinto and kidney beans. I use baked sweet potatoes. I will then make my own cheese crackers as the bread crumbs. Then add a egg. Mix it all together and then cook in a frying pan/ cast iron pan to get a crust on burger. You can eat in a bun or use a lettuce leaf to wrap it. Sooo good. Hey for hubby and his carnivore diet. You could make a scotch egg without the breadcrumb crust. You hard boil a egg ( do it so the yoke is still a little runny but the white is cooked enough to peel) then wrap the egg with sausage meat. And fry it to cook. That why you want a slightly runny yoke because your going to fry it, you don't want to over cook the egg and make it rubbery.

For a crunchy snack on carnivore is pork rinds. A friend of ours has been on carnivore for 12 years, the only dairy is butter. Salad dressing for me is only a squeeze of lime with salt and pepper.

HARD BOIL EGGS -- I have found a great way to make hard boiled eggs. Fresh or older, it works every time. Bring a pot of water to a hard boil, then place your eggs in the water one at a time. Make sure the water is at a boil each time you add an egg. Boil for about 13 minutes. Turn of the burner and let sit for a few minutes. Then drain hot water and begin running cold water of the eggs. Let cool until you can handle. I have found that the ones that don't peel well were the ones that were placed in the water that was not at a full boil. I have used this method for over a year, and it works.

I cringe when I go shopping with you at the prices you pay in Alaska. However, the other day, I shopped locally (sw Missouri) and thought I was going to have a heart attack! When did milk, eggs, butter, bread and cream get so expensive! Holy Cow! I need to do a better job of watching sales and stocking up! I have also found that when I eat sweets, I tend to want more and more. But when I keep fresh fruit and vegetables ready to grab and snack, I don’t reach for the sugary food as often. So part of my strategy for eating healthier (I don’t diet. That's setting myself up for failure!) is to keep fresh fruit and veggies ready to grab and go. Also, I try not to buy "junk" because if it isn't in my house, I can't eat it! I'm not 100% pure with that strategy, but I have cut back considerably and do make a conscious effort to eat healthier! Kudos to you and Aaron for choosing a healthier meal plan (not diet because that has negative connotations). And give yourselves grace if everyday isn't perfect. On those imperfect days, celebrate the days that were good and celebrate your conscience effort to eat healthier.

I have tried calorie counting and keto, and I am now carnivore. Carnivore is by far the easiest for me. You just eat meat until you can't eat anymore. Also, while on keto, I fell into buying all the Keto snacks. Big mistake for me. We all fall for how many calories or how many carbs does this "food" item have in it. Many are now looking at the ingredients. Simplest way of eating is single ingredient, or whole foods. No processed items.
