Postmodern Theory: Postmodernism challenges the notion of a singular, objective truth and instead focuses on the multiplicity of perspectives and narratives. Postmodern theorists argue that truth is constructed through language and discourse. For example, postmodernists might critique grand political narratives, such as nationalism, by deconstructing them to reveal how they serve the interests of dominant groups and suppress alternative narratives.
