Tip - get a piece of black rain gutter and mount it upside down with the flat side that typically faces the house behind the track that the doors run on. This will give you a great looking awning that should keep the rain from entering the tops of the doors.

I wish they showed where the 14 floor mounting locations are for the sub structure (Concrete slab or Wood Platform). Maybe it will be clearer once I start to assemble.

We are going to put down some concrete blocks and then bolt plywood to that. Easy enough to level the blocks and then start from a nice, level surface. ​@@rachelgee7894

@@chrisbennett5589probably took the wife and I about 6 hours. The last roof panel was broke which is one of the last steps. Waiting on a reply about a replacement. 😢

PSA to anyone who does this, it's a pain in the butt. And DON'T leave your pieces out in the sun while you assemble it!! It warped them and now we don't have a great fit 😢

When you got to the to the two metal bars that had to be connected via the joiner how did you fit in the 6 screws with the 3 support brackets into it (step 37 to be exact)

Assembling a real product would have been better than this 3d modeling. Pieces aren’t perfect and holes don’t align. Just assembled it today, don’t have a whole lot of confidence to be honest. Lots of nooks and crannies open.

I'm in the same boat lol. Probably will reinforce it with some 2x4s

@@danto7931 I just foam spray inside along all seams, and used steel wool in bigger corner holes. Mainly to minimize any critters getting in. Roof was a pain for me though, can’t say that enough.
