@RidgebackHQ Why mention it? When you hear this song, you do not picture the person singing it, so it's a tad surprising. *Fun Fact: the record company PURPOSELY kept his picture off of the album cover so that the song could get the play it got in some of the places the song was place.* No, in the grand scheme of things, it does not matter. Well, at least it shouldn't. However, mention of it does not take away from this song or anything Mr. Caldwell accomplished in his life or career. It's simply a statement that speaks to people hearing this song - the groove and the voice - thinking the singer is Black and slightly being taken aback when finding out he isn't.

I would like to share that there was a time in my life where I was completely broken. I didn't know where to turn. I tried crying out to family members and friends, that did not work. I finally cried out to Jesus, and he heard my cry. When the bible says God is near to the brokenhearted it is very true. I cried out to God in tears, and He eventually turned my sorrow to joy. I thank God for the gift of salvation that He gave me. Now I have a wife and 3 kids that God has blessed me with. Please stick in there and give God a chance to transform your life. Cry out to God no matter how broken you are.

If you did not know who he was-you had never seen a picture-and did not know those things about him/his career, based on the song alone, it's easy to think the person singing is not Black. Even when this song first came out and people "discovered" what was kept "secret," they, too, were surprised.

🗣️🗣️🗣️ I just saw his Unsung tribute last night (03.03.24) for the first time, and that's when I found out that he's was no longer with us! It saddened me to know what they did to him; a great travesty of very irresponsible medical malpractice destroyed his career, and brought debilitation and great pain to his life! Someone should pay for that, really! This song is a forever classic! Which is also the reason why Phyllis Hyman covered it as well, and she did an excellent job! May they both Rest in Power!💐❤💕💕💕.

Doja cat is absolutely disgusting. She mocks God and she is working for satan's realm. I wouldn't even say she should be in any rank of music because she's just insulting. the Lord. That's all she ever did and that's all she ever will do unless we pray for her where she can repent of her sins and come to the Lord and know that she is in. The wrong.
