6:55 That's a fallacy. though, that women 'need' to work in order to 'provide' for everyone else in the household. That's not always true. Staying at home, you earn to budget and you don't buy so much stuff. I remember feeding my family of four on less than $250 a month. We didn't have the biggest house on the block or a new car, and we definitely didn't go out to eat all the time. And yet, I got to see my son's first steps and hold him during the day when he didn't feel well. So, there are ways to make it work. And it's definitely worthwhile.

good point and great that your family was able to be so resourceful. but in reality, no one would agree that $250 is a healthy amount of money to feed a family of 4. your situation is completely anecdotal. They are having a conversation on consensus, not a rare occasions nobody would know about.

Maybe people especially males need to look at this from the perspective of making connections and look into themselves and work on self improvement. Women are tired of men who consume pornography and can't relate on an emotional level and don't need to be married to live in society and don't want to anymore.
@ashraile
@ashraile 2 жыл бұрын
Entirely untrue, I was in fact too emotional and insecure and was resoundly rejected for it. Around social circles where I presented that I didn't give a damn about LTR or marriage, I did much better. Stop comparing emotionally unavailable Chad to the rest of us guys. The emotional types, you reject and ignore 100% of the time without exception. It's a great way to test a woman's character, just be always nice to them and see if (when) you get rejected. But that comes with a tradeoff. When the previously nice guy realises that women don't care about relationships until it's far too late for them (post wall 30s 40s), without exception, he adopts the same mindset that Chad does, since y'all didn't want relationships anyway. But what you females don't seem to understand is that without the relationship and family building aspect of a woman's character, she is effectively the same as a prostitute, and is viewed as such by men. And so a man has no reason to engage with such a person as an individual, because they choose to offer nothing of value. (Integrity, commitment, empathy, cherishment, positive reinforcement, compassion). So congrats, you did this to yourselves. Enjoy what comes next.

Many women prefer to share an alpha male or be alone rather than 'settle' for an average man. In addition, the government subsidizes single mothers by spreading the burden of child-rearing across society through taxation. This dynamic encourages women to pursue the most desirable men to progenate with and foots the taxpayer with the financial obligation that would otherwise be picked up by a faithful husband. The social safety net has unbridled women from the biological mandate to find and secure a reliable mate.

5:02 - men and women are fundamentally different, gender stereotype arguments aside, and that's actually completely fine. Really hit it on the head about how the male paradigm is seen as the standard life pattern everyone should be able to achieve; and yet, because of women's perception of inequality based more of lifestyle choices and realities, than on patriarchy, we see society trying to feminise men and the workplace. What we really need to do, and we should've done is - but leaders lacked the wisdom to think in such a way - post WW2 when all the women had been working whilst the men went off to fight, and then came back to take jobs away from women (largely) who had then adopted a male life pattern, industry and government leaders should have worked out a female life pattern outside of the home that enabled them to be workers and mothers. Instead, since then, we've had a battle of the sexes over workplace norms and gender expectations. Now would be a great time to work that one out.

This is the 20% 80% rule. "The 80-20 rule, also known as the Pareto Principle, is an aphorism which asserts that 80% of outcomes (or outputs) result from 20% of all causes (or inputs) for any given event. In business, a goal of the 80-20 rule is to identify inputs that are potentially the most productive and make them the priority." Great discussion. In my opinion, the issue isn't female hypergamy. Hypergamy is similar to the profit motive and competition in capitalism. But in today's social media culture females are practicing hyper hypergamy and are generating dangerous imbalances in dating and social structures. Charles McKay in his famous book detailed how "bubbles" are created and sustained in markets and dating is a "market". Modern females are practicing hypergamy in an extreme manner which will have long-term consequences for them. Modern-day hypergamy is based on the presumption that there is a top 10% male for EVERY SINGLE WOMAN who wants one. And if a female doesn't secure her top 10% male she opts out of dating and marriage and remains single. But only a comparably small segment of females are in the top 10% as measured by males. However, social media promotes the falsity every female is a top 10% member. But time and biology works against females pursuing this option because; first, as females get older her desirability in the marketplace DECEASES compared to her younger female counterparts. Second, reproduction for women while extended by modern science becomes less of an option as a women ages. Men on the other hand do not experience these changes in their sexual marketplace value.

But males in their 60s and 70s have successfully fathered children were females in these age ranges rarely successfully conceive and bring pregnancy to full term. People use to recognize and value trades. I have not done a deep dive into alpha male/ red pill...but what I have seen suggests the thought leaders largely ignore tradesmen and women as successful. Most couples I know that have been together for a long time are pretty well matched in all aspects and aren't obsessed with getting the superficially "best" mate possible. Y'all obsess over external features and metrics because you don't know what's actually important for building relationships. As women achieve higher levels in education , careers and incomes their focus for a potential partner is still also based on these factors . In the world of online dating men in well paid , stable blue collar jobs ( electricians , plumbers etc ) are otherwise overlooked based solely on these factors and are therefore deemed not suitable . It very much appears that having a Bachelors /Masters Degree or PHD is now a fundamental requirement men have to possess in order to be deemed dateable by women , the same cannot be said in regard to men’s dating choices .
@NathanPK
@NathanPK 2 жыл бұрын
Three obvious oversights. (1) Birth control means women are freer sexually than they were in the past. (2) People date and marry outside of their age cohort. (3) The dynamic changes over time as people couple up and those left are picking from a smaller pool. This means that a short, awkward, poor young man may be unsuccessful in his 20s but do just fine in his 30s, if he takes the ten years to improve on his improvable qualities. Likewise for women. It also means that once women switch from dating for fun to courting for marriage, and as the so-called high status men are taken, their selection criteria will change to those men who can be trusted to be reliable partners.

I'm not short and was not poor and now I am very well off (I retired at 40) and I was a decent looking young man. The problem was I was a decent human being who pursued an education and worked hard to achieve my goals in life (I was a commercial photographer and artist). I did not cover myself in tattoos, didn't drink or use drugs or mooch off women. That made me repulsive, and the more I was rejected the more socially awkward I became. Today, I sometimes get asked out by middle aged single moms with kids who are way to young for a middle aged mother. Your kids should be adults by the time you're 45, or at least close to graduating from high school. These women have 4 and 5 year olds! I just tell them I have nothing to offer them and they need to find someone else. When I tried dating earlier in life, I never once asked out a woman successfully. Meaning that every one of the 200+ women I asked out turned me down. The women I dated asked me out, but refused to touch me; even after dating for weeks they wouldn't kiss me. When pushed, they'd admit that the idea of touching made their skin crawl. They were using me for free entertainment while waiting for the tatted up losers of their dreams to come along. Now they're used up with young children in their 40s and wanting to use me to support those kids; kids they had with men they really found attractive...but badboys don't support their kids. Too bad, not my circus, not my monkeys.

another thing of note that helps explain womens success in current education, but men catching up/ exceeding while working even without pregnany reducing womens time at work: men are less motivated to work without clear goals, measurements and causaly linked steps. but they are more motivated when those things are present. in comparison to women. that has hunting/ childrearing reasons: cost/likelyhood analysis for men and routine tolerance in women. women do better in education that is aimless and disconnected. men do better with a route (both do better, but men than exceed women on average).

The problem actually goes hand-in-hand with inequality. Studies have shown that as the size of a society grows, so does inequality. Nowadays, we're living in a global society of 8 billion people, by far the largest in history. Modern communication and travel have also interlinked global society like never before. This renders Western women, automatically, in the top 10% of the world, just by default. Then, from there, because of female hypergamy, they only want to date up. But the reality is, the top 1% of income earners globally make just $30,000. The solution is for Western men to ditch Western women, and start importing wives. The only problem is that female hypergamy will lead to those wives trying to ditch the man they've married after a couple years, to "upgrade." Again, because of female hypergamy. What we should do is rewrite the laws to disallow them from doing so. If they file for divorce, they should have to go back to their country of origin. Problem solved.

"Why is it only happening now when this has always been the case, women looking for these types of men?" I'll tell you in a pure and simple and non PC answer: FEMINISM. This was never the case in the 1950s, which people say was an awful time for women. But has anyone asked women who lived in this era what they thought of it? No, as most, including my mother, would disagree. The majority would say it was a great time to be a woman and certainly better than today where men had respect, marriage was sacrasanct, and raising a family with your beloved was the dream. Look what feminism has given us, latch key kids, broken homes, single parents, selfish single people, children raised by strangers. Leading to kids replacing fathers with gangs, leading to less respect for their elders and more violent crimes on the streets. I could go on but should I have to. It's clear as day in my book. Don't believe me look at the stats for single parents in the 50s or crime of any sort yourself. Then, you just might see why I emigrated and raised my child abroad.

Many men lose who they are in marriage as well, this isn’t exclusive to women. Men have to get educated and make sure they’re making a lot of money since half of marriages end in divorce where the woman takes half of everything and the man is stuck with monthly child support payments. Your arguments are invalid and have an undertone of “I’m a woman, I should be treated differently than a man would be under the same circumstances”. That’s not equality.

I actually see it the opposite in the dating world. The men don't want to commit because it's too easy to just keep it casual regardless of their income level. What women are no longer settling for is casual relationships. That is why we become adapt to being single by choice. Has not a lot to do with hypergamy. We are well aware of the imbalance of the amount of men who won't meet those standards. And have no problem with going with a STABLE man who treats us well. The problem is there's no conscious effort on behalf of men to do so. They are not even approaching for dates etc. The red pill community is not helping at all with this imbalance. Because as your guest have stated, it is not the information itself that is the problem, it is how it is being presented. Therefore causing a HUGE rift in balance between men and women relations. IMO

Very interesting discussion, and to a certain degree I agree with the analytic basis. But aren’t you talking about a certain section of the population? I believe that still the majority of women…even if you only count the socalled developed world…still hold manual jobs, or work within sectors where no degree is required. Mostly the workforce does not consist of highflying careerists. Further….has anyone suggested a solution with regard to issues…both with regard to men and women…? In my country birth gives the parents the right of one year maternity/paternity leave where a portion is mandatory paternity leave. The practicality of this is still under debate even years after it was enforced.

Christopher Patrick - just a suggestion - try a local choir (even if you aren't a great singer) as choirs are usually way more female than male. Or try an after work course in something you are interested in that women are also likely to take eg psychology or Art History, and/or even if you are atheist do a free 'taster course' for those who aren't religious asking 'is there a God' eg Alpha course for people in your age group. Doing courses you will meet many people over the weeks of the course and expand your social circle (they will have their own friends etc). Unless a course is age specific you may just meet older and younger people - but the olders have children and youngers have older siblings/cousins etc). IMO the once a week courses give you a chance to meet people who aren't drinking/dressed to the nines etc and find out who they are gradually. IMO this is way more authentic than meeting at a nightclub or bar one night.

What I took away from this is frightening. Assuming only a very small subset of men can afford to care for a family of 2-3 children without their partner needing to work in our current economy then women have basically had the choice to be a mother removed subversively. I believe this to be the case, I remember looking into the statistics for the UK and they confirm this to some extent: 1993-2016 (and it’s got worse since) Average wage ‘93 - 19k Average wage ‘16 - 23k Average house price ‘93 - 59k Average house price ‘16 - 249k I’ve heard from a lot of people about the attack on the family unit, increase in incentives for single motherhood etc and all the accompanying stats that prove it’s a horrific thing to do and this seems like an economic version of that.

This is a result of social engineering, there has been a steady and concerted effort to drive boys out of the higher education system as well as a relentless pursuit by employers to most highly hire women

@@cosmeticscameo8277 I've been sort of a self-trained (autodidact) speed reader for decades now. Some items I read diligently; some I sort of skim. I got to the last few words of the OP's comment, and it tripped me up big time. Had to reread it three times. I get the drift, but his/her alliteration threw me for a loop! Much better would have been "...to mostly hire women."

There hasn’t been an effort to drive boys out of higher education. They themselves are leaving. There is a study on this and I forgot the name but it’s an effect calls “someone hung gender leave” the study says that whenever women join something men do, the men themselves decide to abandon that thing out of fear of the feminine. The study gives examples about how Men used to wear heels because it was a symbol of upper class and power but then when women started wearing that, men stopped doing that and by their own will left, or like how pink used to be a male colour but once a woman decided to wear it and many women then decided to wear it, men stopped wearing it and blue now became the colour for the masculine. Pink was a colour for masculine coz of how similar it was to red which symbolised power. To summarise, whenever and area of something gets “invaded” by women, men leave. Most teachers were Male. Look now? Most psychologist were Male. Look now? Another study showed that a man is less likely to go to a university if he is aware that it is made of mostly women, even if it was like 52% 48% men. There is a study on that I’m literally trying to find it.

Don’t forget that when comparing women’s degrees to men, men still predominantly have a predisposition to physical labor when it comes to trades, blue collar wrk, etc, it’s in our DNA. We are different.

For myself I can see the pressure to perform like a man came mostly from my dad and yes also society. My dad had no clue how to be there for a girl and to appreciate femininity. The only way to get his approval or positive attention was to get good marks. I struggled so hard with this my entire life and fought my own heart so hard. I have never been interested in a career. I always dreamt of exploring the world, beauty, romance and family. It was only in my very late 20's that I started to let go of the shame that I never went to college and that it was a good choice for me.

Im in the same situation. Failed my first study in business administration. Now studying biology because I’m more interested in nature and not money like my father wanted me to go after . I also realized that chasing money is a dead end and will never fulfill. So I will chase my dreams and give a shit about what society will expect from me even if it mean’s that I’m not able to have a family. After my last break up it’s hard for me to give Love a second, or was it a sixth? Chance. I went through so much trouble loving girls which left me for no particular reason that I will just life the best life for me I can imagine for myself. Don’t know if the current dating situation will get better any time soon . And now with red pill knowledge everything makes so much more sense… good luck everybody finding your pourpose;) don’t sacrifice your precious energy for money. It’s wasted energy.
