I’ve learned a balance finally and only do lightweight natural looks to, like you say, enhance what God has given me. I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I love to see women empowering other women to embrace the features that God blessed them with. Especially for younger women and girls I wish there was more content available to encourage them to practice a minimalistic approach. Not that we can’t have fun with color or sparkles but to understand that makeup isn’t supposed to be about changing the angles of our faces to fit in or to hide the things that make us unique. It is a realization that I didn’t find until my late twenties and have fully embraced in my early thirties but I think if there had been more videos like this maybe I would have found the clarity sooner. Through the years, I came to believe that makeup should enhance your feature not completely change how God created you. I was always afraid to learn how to properly do makeup in case I ended up hating my imperfections and become even more insecure. My makeup routine is literally my skin but better (tone up base, colour corrector, concealer, eyebrows, mascara, maybe eyeliner, lipstick, blush and a little contouring.) Comparison is a killer. God loves us just as we are ❤

I use to wear ALL the things...I quit wearing makeup when I drifted really far from the Lord. Got engaged to a woman for a while and my feminine side got forsaken... then God found me...and I've been wearing just some concealer and mascara (acne has become my natural blush 🤣). The way God heals us differently on the same things like makeup and femininity is so...beautiful 🥺 He really cares.
