11:45 It really pairs with the music well, the baby crying in the background. It's as if the miracle of birth is being rejoiced at the end the piece. Or it could be almost symbolizing the sense of rebirth into a new beginning, a new day, a new life to embark on the world. I don't know but it seems to be timed so well. You can hear the audience member's cough at certain points too. But this almost seemed meant to be. I used to be a performer myself and understand how frustrating it can be that you finally got to the end of the piece just to have the surrounding noise interupt or ruin the moment. Here though, I don't know, for me, it almost seemed...
@marioirineu75 Жыл бұрын
Yes, it was on purpose, I don't know, but the coughing was a form of sabotage. If you listen to my original piano pieces recorded in the 18th century, you will realize that the attempt at sabotage is not recent, but it is a very beautiful thing to hear.

Kids with monsters under the bed know what the music describes, and what a difference dawn makes [8:15]: the music and the tale of All Hallows Eve draw from the same well. This is why it is popular, and no Fantasia would be complete without it. "The baby has known the dragon intimately ever since he had an imagination. What the fairy tale provides for him is a St. George to kill the dragon." [G. K. Chesterton - Tremendous Trifles].

Same with a flute player. If you take note, all of the women are wearing red colored long skirts. The one flute player not playing doesn't have on a red skirt. My guess is that she and the trumpet player are new to the Orchestra and sat in on the concert as members but hadn't had the practice time.
