As Salamu alaikum sister, really nice MashaAllah I would love to try this but I’m not sure how to get my own measurements?
@rajaaayoubiart8 ай бұрын
Salam, Not sure if you are still figuring this out. - Measure your height from the point that's between your neck and shoulders to the ground adding an inch or two for seam allowance. This is the height you use to mark the length she marked as 55 inches. - Then measure the length from the side of your neck to before your wrist. Substitute her shoulder to sleeve length with yours. - Follow her measurements for the neck opening and the head-piece she attached, since most women have that head size. Following her measurements should be okay if you are around 5.5 feet tall and anywhere between a size small and x-large. If you are a plus-size, I would suggest adding 5 inches more (for each extra two sizes) to the width of the fabric folded in fours the way she had it at first. And, of course, if you are significantly shorter or taller you would adjust the length to your height the way I explained. Hope this helps and that my instructions were clear. Happy sewing 🤗
