The thing about Mods is, they should only ever be added AFTER the vehicle has been driven for a significant time. Nora has been with us for years now. Been ridden through so many terrains, and the simplistic absolute utility of all these mods make it so very lovely. Small comment, the point where you mention the leg resting place on the crash guard, I do feel that'd make the Himalayan so much more comfortable as an Adventure-Tourer.

Bro, you can add a footrest on the crash guard for your leg rest. I am planning to add one for my himalayan.
@mikerobinson8734 Жыл бұрын
There's a good chance If you crash your footrest will likely cause more damage to your bike. If you laid it down on the highway at speed your bike would likely cartwheel rather than slide. Something to consider.

AutoEngina crash guards didn't work well for me and a one another Himalayan we ordered for. Had a lot of vibrations even after refitting the whole thing multiple times. MotoTorque's Guardian crash guard with "Sliders" worked well for me, saved my bike multiple times from crash, it doesn't transfer any impact to chasis nor is uncomfortable, just the slider and it's nut bends (which are really cheap to replace) rest everything is solid. Btw, Loved the video quality and audio quality of this one ❤️
@SpilTrez Жыл бұрын
Ohh, that’s bad. Did you reach out to AutoEngina about this?
@haxzie_ Жыл бұрын
@@SpilTrez Yeah, they suggested to refit it, also to get some rubber bush to prevent vibration, I gave up after a few tries, and returned it.

Regarding the exhaust, did zoheb not advise to use fuel x pro? I had to change my fuel pump under warranty. Crash guards are incredibly irritating post 90 kmph. Had to get them removed as they got too buzzy. Didn’t the stock seat compress very easily? I’m 5 foot 10 and 95 kg and an ass numbing experience in 30 mins.

Bro, can you explain or give more details on the tail rack. Wanted to make something like that only, considering the fact that the top would be too heavy . I had also ordered the side tapered plate from Viaterra, but they sent me a flat one. I see you have some reinforcements done, would really like to have more details on it, for e.g.- materila used, dimensions etc. Would really appreciate your response.

There is a real need to distinguish between modification and accessorizing a motorcycle. Modification is alteration to make it work better. In this video, the only modification I see is the powerage end cans, and everything else are mere accessories.

How to secure doubletake mirrors against theft bro? They don't come with RAM keys by default in Amazon. Does ram key really make it locked and secured? I'm confused.
@SpilTrez Жыл бұрын
No, double take mirrors are not completely theft-proof. They are designed to be more resistant to theft compared to normal mirrors, no security measure is entirely foolproof. However, determined thieves can still find ways to remove them given enough time and effort 😛
