We just bought a 1999 Eurovan Camper with 127,000K miles. Runs great and it is in great shape inside and out. We just serviced needed minor maintenace, and are ready to hit the road. Super excited with our new toy!

These eurovans are the best. My brother has my dad’s ‘84 vanagon and I took my dad’s ‘95 eurovan camper (new transmission replaced under warranty, been perfect since, van now has 119k miles!). No lift kit for me, it sags slightly but it fights in my garage. One advantage eurovans have is convenience - I can go through any dive thru, parking garage and the automatic transmission is fantastic! Power’s not an issue even with that bullet-proof I-5 banger

I just bought a '95. It can drive fast on the freeway after a long build up. Like a locomotive, then hard to stop! Hope my engine lasts as long. Only 150,000 miles on it so far. Some shady company I had inspect it said the tranny needs replacing for $11,000 but other things they told me about it proved not to be true, so I'm just going to have good towing insurance! :P Love how my van drives though. Feels so solid and safe! Sad you are selling yours. Wish you had sold it to me!

Stu! Once again another great Video!! And you're wife is beautiful! Great VW Vanagon. Dare I say it...The best motor of all time...VR6! Keep an eye the Coil pack, 12vs were notorious for them to crack! You'll notice your car running like Shit during rainy, misty days! And what ever your do, don't touch it while it's running like shit, ask my friend..lol. My 1997 VW GTI VR6 Drivers Edition Ginster yellow!! He got the shock of his life! I warned him back then! ⚡️ ZAP!!! Great ride! What's sad is that Volkswagen will probably never produce another Van such as that!

Did you have to do anything special to hook up the charge controller to the battery? I am worried about the charge controller and alternator charging the battery at the same time.

Thanks Ruben!! The mods were pretty cheap. I was surprised how much the good deep cycle batteries cost....$500 each!! Solar panel was only like $150 though. Roof box we got on Craigslist for $60 haha. Wheelie fun vehicles though!

Different valving and timing. Tuned for torque. Its funny because the VR6 in my Corrado has Shcrick 268 cams. So the power is way at the top, and the power in the van is at the bottom. Thanks for the comment!

I just bought a '95 5-cylinder and get about 13 MPG and only drive around 60-65 mph. So these fools driving 80 probably get around 10! hahaha

I sincerely hope their brakes are better than mine, as I feel very iffy even driving 65 and keep a large follow distance (as much as I can in Seattle traffic, anyway!)

@@kelliethorne1200 If you still have it there’s a tuning issue because the mpg is much harder than that. It is very common for one of the temperature sensors that feed the ECU to go bad. Causing a rich condition but you might not notice it.

It's only gray water (handwashing water/dishwashing water) as there's no toilet. It has a holding tank for clean water and another one for gray water.

My '95 has an LP powered furnace (that doesn't work.) So I'm sure this one has it as well. Air con. is called pop the roof and open the lovely screened windows! For a toilet, I plan a porta potty hidden by a removable box with a cushion on top for accessory seating.

For a shower you use the one out back with a pop-up shower tent if you're modest, or just wear a bikini if you're not.
