Modified 2016 Volkswagen Caddy Mk4 in Pure Grey. VW Caddy for the channel and mountain bike van.

Welcome to my Mk4 2016 VW Caddy Highline finished in Pure Grey and lightly modified (more mods to come!) As a mountain biker I needed a vehicle to transport my mountain bikes to ride spots and events around Europe - and here is the answer.
The 2.0 litre turbo diesel engine knocks out a tiny 102bhp but with a decent amount of torque. This can easily be remapped and long term plans are to remap it at Wolfsburg Vans before in years to come adding a 2.0 TFSI and R32 twin exhaust. We will be looking at hydrodipping a few items and much more over the coming years so if you like your Caddy action, please consider subscribing and pressing the bell icon for updates as they happen.
The Caddy van features 19 inch Valere VLR05 wheels and sits on lowered suspension (coil overs...may change to springs at Wolfsburg Vans) and these will be ceramic coated with Garage Therapy Hades at a later date.

Thanks. Pure Grey has always been my favourite colour on the Caddy so it was on the list of must haves when I was looking. Fun for an amateur detailer too as the colour responds so well to various products. Ideal test mule ;)

Now that is a very nice caddy😍 iv been looking for one a long time but the price is mental at the moment. The only thing yours needs is a sliding door rail cover but other than that it’s a beauty👍🏻👍🏻

I don’t have a problem with stone chips at the front , I have problems with spray from the tires cutting through mud flaps and taking the paint from just above the front doors . There are two ways to go with a caddy , make it pretty or make it fast . M1 Ghost 👻. I think you go 240 hp Passasat common rail heavy , turn off emissions and then remap , get rid of commercial box go 6 speed manual . I had mine brought down to around 300 bhp to save on ripping gearbox casings mounting lungs out . ✅✅✅✅✅✅🇬🇧👍

Sounds like you’ve got a beast on your hands there. Respect. I’ve changed my mind since I filmed this re the engine. I’ll stage one remap it early next year ahead of a lot of event miles around Europe. That’ll be faster and just more driveable. Eventually…years to come…I may electrify it. Yep, really.

I couldn't help but notice the aftermarket LED headlight kit fitted, You will be blinding other's as they are a reflector housing not projector housings

To be fair, fuel prices may persuade me to keep it haha. Yes, they do some pretty special things don't they. First thing to do, which I didn't actually mention in the video stupidly, is to replace the coilovers with springs. Welsh roads do coilovers no favours...nor my spine :) Thanks for watching.

@@TheCraigGroves Prosport so not high end, no. However from my research it seems that lowering springs just seem to add to the ride quality bearing in mind that these have leaf springs on the back end.

As with all things in life it's supply and demand I guess...people will pay what they're willing and able to pay for what they want. If you're happy with your purchase and you think you got a good deal, then that's all that counts. I got a decent deal on mine and I'm happy with it. I tend not to discuss prices as everyone will have an opinion on it depending on their viewpoint/circumstances..I'm happy with what I paid :)

Great van but I'm not keen on how much tmg have plastered their name all over the place. Wheel caps, clocks , head rests etc. It's like your sponsored but it's cost you and not been given to you.
