I've had a pair of reflex 14B's for my son and I since 2020. I've probably rebuilt both of our buggies 10 times replacing gears and broken shock tower supports. We beat the crap out of ours as bashers, but we're both still learning to control our jumps. We've never taken them to a track, just bashing them down the street, the playground and local dirt lots. These things scream down the pavement and I can't believe how controllable they are on the dirt. We even opened them up on the Oregon shores during low tide and had a blast on the sand. At one point we put on bigger street tires, a Hobbywing Quicrun ESC and 3S LiPo's. I actually chased my buggy down the back roads with my car and a GoPro with GPS enabled and the GPS tracked us at about 55 MPH. That didn't last long before the motor had a nuclear meltdown. I upgraded to a larger motor but kept stripping out the main center diff gears, even after going with the larger main gear and the extended gear housing on the bottom of the chassis. I also upgraded to the metal diff gears as well on both buggies. We're now back down to running Hobbywing Quicrun 2435 motors on both buggies and are sticking with 2S LiPo's. Plenty of fun with those setups. I think the aftermarket 16T pinion gears we were using had different gear geometry than the original which was causing our gears to shred early. We went with an aftermarket pinion because the original pinion didn't work with the larger motor's shaft size. The new 2435's work with the original pinion gear, so we're back in business. Good news to hear about the metal hubs though! I didn't know those existed! We also upgraded both buggies with Fast Eddie bearings. We've since moved to Florida and are just bashing ours on the local empty lots. It would be nice to find a local track though. Tony.

I bought mine in Aug of 2023....only raced and only on carpet. I've beat the heck out of it and it just keeps going. On my third servo, now....still running the stock motor/ESC. I LOVE these little buggies!

I got the reflex 14t mini truggy and I replaced the stock radio. I had a weird throttle delay response with the stock radio even after calibrating the esc. Swapped to a spectrum radio setup and no more delayed response. I also broke the servo saver in the first two packs. I think the plastic that originally came with those servo savers are weak but the new part is stronger. Nothing else has broken on it besides bodys and I'm driving it on 8th scale tracks on stock plastic everything.

Bought of one these a little while ago but I'm still waiting on it to ship into my LHS. You've got everything available for it so I'm sure that was quite expensive, but it should be good. I just got the RTR version, the sway bars, and then carbon fiber shock towers and bellcrank base from Hackfab. I think that was it and everything else will be stock for now. Looking forward to it since it's my first RC car and I will try to use it in a mix of (careful) bashing outdoors and hopefully on a carpet track eventually. There's only one near me but it's still a fair drive.

Looks really nice with those upgrades, very cool! I'm interested in this buggy for the summer, but more of a basher/runner sort of machine, just for some goodtimes, RC fun!

Great video. I‘m currently upgrading mine. Maybe the castle 0707 I‘ve orderes is a bit small. But what pinion did You use? And what main gear? Afaik the 1007 has 1/8“ pinionshaft and the stock one is 2mm 🤔 any help would be great.

I have a 14b gamma and I love it. Unfortunately there is no indoor racing where I live but I do enjoy playing with it, even more than my 1/10 scale bashers or racers. The one issue I have with this car is the stock motor mount. It’s made of pot metal and breaks easily. I wish that associated or some aftermarket parts company could design an aluminum mount that is stronger and provided better mesh for different pinions or motors. Maybe soon I hope? Otherwise a great 1/14 scale car that I would love to race indoors on carpet or clay. Thanks

How much would it be to make a running or non running mini model of the Bentley W12 with twin turbo kit from an I think 2008 Bentley?

Hey guys so we just started rain mini in my home town. I can’t seen to find the set up on hobby town I’m really curios on the fluids your running in the reflex 14. Also do u have another recommendation on the servo. Horizon does not sell that servo. Unfortunately the hobby store we have here only deals with horizon hobby. Thanks

What did you do as far as pinion gear goes? The reedy set up is a 2.3 mm shaft?

Hello, new to RC but I am mechanically inclined. I bought this rig to race with other buddies who have this rig. Installed a brushless motor and blew the center differential after 4 uses. Have you ran into center diff issues? I like how the AARMA Typhon Grom has a solid center diff. Let me know your inputs. Thanks

What pinion gears are you running?? Gears are the hardest part of this car IMO, the mesh system is bad and I blow through spurs and can’t find aftermarket pinions easily.
