@@DamoDrives it's not that car. My car is metallic red and a 1995 500hc. Right now my car is away having performance upgrades and a few other small jobs that need doing. It drove well when I got it but I want to be rid of the famous TVR reliability issues. (A few extra BHP's won't hurt).

I recently bought a Tamora and I'm absolutely LOVING it. Its been my dream since I was 8 and 14 years later I managed to finally achieve that dream. Anyone still on the fence, don't believe the stories, they are fantastic as long as you get one that's been looked after... buy from someone who knows their stuff!
@DamoDrives Жыл бұрын
Congratulations on the new car , is the dream everything you hoped ? As Miles said on the video buy a cheap poorly maintained TVR (in fact any car tbh) expect problems. For me it was the Tuscan S but not from childhood mind you as I was not massively into cars then. I would like to get some more TVRs onto the channel over the coming year.

Thanks, its everything I'd ever hoped for! The shear drama of a bimble through the countryside is spectacular and the community is brilliant too, easily the most welcoming group of car enthusiasts I've met. The Tuscans are fantastic, I used to read the owners manual in between lectures at uni! You provide the content and I'm all up for watching it! There is fat too little TVR content on here.

Loved your response mate,you share my sentiments exactly and I'm longing for one ! Enjoy yourself !!

@@DamoDrives if you're buying anything performance oriented you should expect to have to replace or repair something soon after purchasing. Always have couple grand aside for any jobs that need doing.

What an awesome beast, there's just something about tvr that makes you smile.

There is something about the simplicity of the cars, no fancy driving modes, suspension setup, a million buttons , self driving. Just a noisy engine , light weight and great to drive

Miles is such a natural because he truly loves what he does, and he is a passionate classic car owner. I couldn't recommend him enough to anyone watching this channel, he is extremely knowledgeable and understanding of his clients needs, I have the pleasure of calling this man my friend, and I'm so happy this video catches his true personality.

He is legend and it’s great day when ever we are creating content, hopefully I did not ruin the video being in it 😂

It’s really really good, was only a short time with the car. This has a 5.4 litre so slightly different but hopefully that has come over on the video 😀😀

Fantastic video, having Miles on it really was great, a natural at it, learnt a heck of a lot about TVRs in a short video there! Certainly looking forward to the next one, just about spotted the blue of my car behind you a couple of times haha!

The engine design originated from the early 60s, and after Rover acquired it kept getting refined. TVR obviously threw the biscuits and gravy at it.
@DamoDrives Жыл бұрын
Might be an old engine but lots of character and buckets of torque

Awesome car! It's a shame that TVRs are such a rarity over here in the US, they're really interesting and unique cars. One day I'd love to ride in a Griffith, what a monster!
@DamoDrives Жыл бұрын
I am not surprised you do not see many as they did not really make many of them in the uk, 25 years old so you can import 1 😀😎
@Lucerd127 Жыл бұрын
Even in Europe it's rare to find a good one. Most ended on the junkyard, because of bad driving. Still a good and fast car damn.

Glad you enjoyed it, was a lovely car even from the passenger side. Will try and arrange to drive 1 at some point and review some more TVRs this year. Well worth saving up for , great cars to look at and such an amazing community as well

Love the performance of the Griffith 500, but i prefer the looks of the wedges 420/450 SEAC. Is it possible to put the Griffith 500 engine in a wedge body ? Has anybody done that before ?

Wonder why it’s backup for sale? Seems a lot of car for the money…. But still would love to know why it’s back up for sale if it’s that good.
