Hello one question, I have the kenwood 430s together with the fm pcb, my question is how is it possible to variable the fm power, my tranceiver has an fm output of 70 watts, ok is good for long distances , for local communication in the city I think it is too much power , is there a way to adjust the output power in fm?

Dear @johnjohn-kj6yk , Basically it lowers the overall power SSB, CW, AM and FM all of that is lowered through a resistor at the emitter of a transistor driver (Re), using a rarely used Squelch Potential, good luck 🙏

SElamat sore om Eko... R211 kaki yg ke ground diputus, di seri dgn potentio Squelch , pada saat Potentio posisi R=0 , power Out put Max , pada saat Potentio posisi R= max , Power Output = minimum ( nol) .... SElamat mencoba ... 😃👍

Om Eliza.. Kalau mau service TS440 dimana ya Om.. ? Frequency display kedip kedip dan kalau pindah frek dari range misal 3 ke 7 mhz, tidak ada receive.. Tapi kalau dibiarkan 5 atau 6 jam barulah ada perubahan.. Regards from Batam
