Out of all the original London car spotters, Sam's is the only channel I like these days. I can't watch Shmee, Paul, the little French guy, or JWW (I think James is actually a cardboard cutout from a Breitling advertisement). Sam is funny, quirky, loves travel and is relatable. His deep love of cars is undeniable. I wish his channel all the best, and will keep watching. Drive the World was a brilliant adventure (even though he didn't make it to Canberra when he came to Australia last year I understand it's not the most exciting city - it's forgivable 😉).

Nice video Sam. Good to see you tuning the 911. The Carrera T wasn't detuned, it is the same engine as the Carrera S but has smaller turbos. If you fitted the larger turbos of the S you'd get more power.

The Carrera T tuned like this makes it a very economical 911 Turbo S style performance.... a real stealth model... it would be good to go back and drive some of Litchfields RS6 tunes, 911 tunes not just his GTR. He has been diversifying his brand for awhile now because the GTR won't last for much longer....

I salute your decision to keep the T! It is a cracking car! Love mine, I've the manual though, which is arguably even better because it retains the lsd and ptv which the pdk does not.

emix not sure why someone would pay a premium for the T and get the PDK. Seems a little odd, get the S with better engine and brakes with PDK for around the same price or get a base with same engine and brakes for much less money. Although the opening statement makes it pretty clear that some aren’t as good with numbers as others 🤦🏼‍♂️ #mathisHard

Please ask them to explain how your car can have 417hp to the wheels and 520hp at the engine...it’s almost 100hp power loss! Normally RWD 911 have 9% of transmission loss while yours have 25%. The car is probably around 460/465 hp which is a good Stage1 for the Carrera T but there’s no need to say it’s 520hp imho 😉

I know this is an old video and post but they can't explain it because it is not true... as you are saying there is no way this car is 520 BHP... at best as you said it is 460 BHP which is awesome... but that is really only about a 60 whp gain which kind of proves that Porsche underrates these cars by 20 - 25 HP which is also awesome.

Personally for me, without the roof racks and box the spot lights look out of place on an otherwise standard looking car and detract from the smooth lines etc. Nice to see the bug has finally got you though, next stop full exhaust, bigger tune for more power and a roll cage from the GT3/3RS ;-)
