Thankyou Tree Maiden. I’m turning 69 next month and am wanting and needing to do some art. I can’t seem to get started though nowadays so I sm looking at lots of art and craft too on KZbin to help motivate me. Your collages are lovely. I see so many similarities to painting and drawing because they all involve composition and colour and creativity. I do want to do a sort of scrapbook for my daughter and this collage is giving me some ideas so that’s great. You don’t look nearly 70 and I thought you looked much younger. Hi jpowl..I find doing art and crafts so satisfying. I think I might have gone a little crazy when I retired if I did not have this to look forward to. I was searching for plaster of paris projects for junk journal covers and your momigami video popped up and I'm so glad it did. I subscribed now and like the wide range of art projects on your channel. I live in Denmark, originally from California and adore your Nova Scotia accent. I had just made a journal out of crunched up paper bags with hand cream and loved the rawness. Last year I ventured into gelli plate print making as I don't get into the printmaking studio that often. I will try your momigami technique on them as well. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. By the by, I love Froyle's art too.

Hi "Tree Maiden"! Just discovered you today. I really don't want to be part of the statistics of "old" (less young) people who don't comment... I'm 71 from Montréal, Québec and started Gel printing and collage some 3 months ago... I'm a bit discouraged because I do not have success with the collaging yet! I hope (and feel) to learn from you... I know Froyles papers and I recognized hers the second you showed it in your video! Thanks for sharing your passion... you do that very well!

Hello, hello, hello! Life took over and I haven’t been around much. I’m hoping things calm down and I can get caught up on your videos. You do so many interesting things. Yes, I am in the older demographic but I feel younger! Doesn’t that count for something 😂! Our son got married this weekend and I even got out and danced with the young people. I started some mixed media but I didn’t know it was that in the 60’s on old Manila folders I found. Then life changed. In 70’s I painted with Bob Ross. Now o only have a tiny corner to work in so I did watercolor. It’s harder than I thought. So trying to combine a lot of things. Sickly like the artist. Art keeps me from pity parties. Lol

Love the Modigliani print. Where did you get it? So glad I found you. I work in mixed media-yarn, leather, faux flowers, buttons, etc. I particularly like Gustav Klimt. I also do jewelry mannequins & lots of other creations. 😍 Will be trying something similar to this collage.

Since Modigliani has no copy right and is in the public domain you can use his working legally. Just type his name online and images come up.

I think your collage is beautiful and you have a great eye. My thoughts are and you can take this comment with a pinch of salt but I personally think more people would comment and you might attract a more age diverse viewer if your videos were a little shorter or more streamlined. I personally skip past you glueing etc, you could speed up those bits and concentrate on the creativity which you have in abundance.

Hi Celine..if you do a search on Bing Modigliani paintings will come up.You can print and use them as there is no copyright and they are in the public domain. I print on cardstock as I find copy paper too flimsy for collage.

It really isn't about the subscribers as much as it is how hard it is to get 4,000 viewing hours. If you have 45 viewing hours you still have 3,955 hours to go...takes a looong time.
