I thought that myself you can look at people 20 years ago in the late 90's and see that they still look like we are now ie fashion, hairstyles etc (and people seemed "normal") .If you went back to the late eighties THEN went back 20 years to the 60s the difference is like night and day. I know every generation probably looks back fondly on the decade in which they grew up. But i seriously think the 90's/ early 00's were quite special, it was like the middle of the road, technology was there, but it didn't over complicate or suppress our lives. Films, tv and music were original and creative, and obviously there was no social media, so we weren't exposed to everybody's narcissism and self righteous beliefs/opinions(i guess you could class my comment as one of those).

Playing endless amounts of online games on the family Windows XP computer, Getting the Wii soon after release, using MSN, watching MTV and Disney channel, burning CDs just so we could play them in my dad's Acura, having fun with my neighbors... When this song plays the Canadian winters all seem like a blur and I think of all the awesome memories I've made during my childhood in the warm summer months. Life was good for everyone
