It's strange how this song instills such a sense of aching nostalgia to me. I never listened to it growing up, I was still an infant when it was released, I feel as though I shouldn't have this sort of attachment to a song I only discovered so recently. I know every generation probably looks back fondly on the decade in which they grew up. But i seriously think the 90's/ early 00's were quite special, it was like the middle of the road, technology was there, but it didn't over complicate or suppress our lives. Films, tv and music were original and creative, and obviously there was no social media, so we weren't exposed to everybody's narcissism and self righteous beliefs/opinions(i guess you could class my comment as one of those).
