2. Cristiano Ronaldo is another famous footballer who has left his mark in football. He has played for clubs such as Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and currently plays for Juventus. Like Messi, Ronaldo has won the Ballon d'Or five times, demonstrating his consistency and talent over the years. He is known for his powerful shot, speed and aerial ability. He managed to score more than 700 goals in his career. Ronaldo also won numerous domestic league titles and helped Real Madrid win three consecutive Champions Leagues.
3. Pelé is often considered the greatest footballer of all time. He played for Santos FC and the Brazilian national team. Pelé is famous for his ability to dribble and score spectacular goals. He won three World Cups with Brazil and scored over 1000 goals in his career. His technical ability, his speed and his vision of the game made him a one-of-a-kind player.
4. Maradona is another famous footballer who has left his mark in football. He is known for his dribbling ability, his game vision and his famous "mano de Dios" during the 1986 World Cup quarter-final match against England. Maradona played for clubs such as Boca Juniors, Barcelona and Napoli, winning numerous national titles and individual honours. He is considered one of the best Argentine footballers of all time.
5. Zinedine Zidane is recognized as one of the best midfielders of all time. He played for clubs such as Juventus and Real Madrid. Zidane is famous for his mastery of ball control, his precision passing and his ability to score goals in spectacular fashion. He won the World Cup with the French national team in 1998, scoring two goals in the final against Brazil. He later became a successful manager of Real Madrid, leading the team to three consecutive Champions League titles.
These are just a few examples of famous footballers and their exploits in the world of football. There are many other players who have left an indelible mark on the history of football with their skills, their talent and their exploits.

Some more info would be great. He is still playing, probably for couple of more years, despite being almost 39. He is in champions league final right now. He won 5 of them. He won 25 trophies with Madrid, and if he wins 26th he'll be the most trophied in their history (with Nacho). With Croatia he didn't just get to 2018 final, he won a bronze in Qatar 2022, making medals two consecutive cups in a row. With Croatia bro, the country of no more then 4 milion people. Do you realize how big is that? Like Maradona with Naples bro, even bigger. Then Croatia lost League of nation's finals vs Spain, on penalties!! Bro, 120 min 0:0 with Spain in the finals. Do you realize now how big is he? For me the best ever.

Thank you for calling Croatia war for independence as it is. Not "civil war" as Brits and French does. Bcs it was not civil war, and Croatia won that war against 3rd biggest army in Eurooe, single handed with embargo on weapons.

I gave you like cause it sounds good, but as Croat who know things from 1st hand it was not just like that. At first all westerns was on Serb/Yugo side and soon as conflict became more brutal they put embargo for all sides. Thing is that Serbs had most of Yugo weapon and we had to steal it, or buy on black market. Hungarians, Russians(unbelieveble but truth) and IRA helped a lot. I think that attack on Dubrovnik as well known historical city was point where westerns change their mind and took our side. I remember well our diplomat saying to American "we don't want you to go there and fight for us. Just quit embargo and give us opportunity to defend ourselves". Then it hapened. All actions, including "Storm" were completely done by Croatian army. One thing Americans did is that they bombed Serbian radar stations in Krajina. That's all. After all in Bosnia, Americans helped Serbs by stoping us and Bosnians in front of Banja Luka. Today they admit that it was mistake, cause if they had let us enter Banja Luka, there won't be problems in Bosnia today.

In croatian there is a difference between "c" and "ć". "C" is "zz" like in pizza "ć" is "ch", so Modrić=Modrich😉
