Bravo! Another neat tutorial, getting us to hear differently. Enjoyed the references to Bob Ross and Spiderman… ;-) The pacing is quite nice in that the end result flows pretty well from what precedes it without being completely predictable. The connection to MPE or PolyAT can help people move to the expressive side. People often misunderstand what it means, saying that “I could do the same thing with knobs”. Not only is this inaccurate but the same people typically don’t do much with expressiveness. So many patches (including many BWS ones) aren’t even support velocity-sensitive. Yet a great BW strength is in supporting MPE and other forms of expression. In many cases, PolyAT is enough to make a huge difference. Yet rare is the patch which supports it out of the box. With inexpensive devices like Novation’s Launchpad X and ROLI’s LUMI, patches supporting PolyAT don’t require a CS-80 level of commitment.

Great video! Are we ever getting feedback outside of the grid and fx containers (say through the audio receive module)? It's something a lot of us are wishing for. Thanks anyways! 😄

Super fun! Feature Request. It would be nice if there was a way to hover over a patch cord, press a ctrl key and do a quick visualization the signal coming through. Very handy not to have to manually add scopes, level meters or spectrum analyzers manually. Anyway, again, nice video.

Thanks much~ And selecting any module shows scopes for its connected in ports (including pre-cords) and all outgoing signals in the Inspector Panel. It isn't everything you asked for but worth noting.

Feature request! A small chicklet module that just does the feedback job of the long delay at lowest setting. It just seems janky to have to use a big delay module to do feedback routings. Additional Feature request! A device line device that does the same feedback process sending signal back to another point in the device line. Or an option on the audio routing device to allow fedback signals with the required .02ms or however many samples/blocks delay.

f* finally, I was bagging for a feedback possibility for years until I gave up on it. I hope you can also feedback a send channel. But I still doubt that.

Can I use FX Grid and long delay inside it to make feeback connection for a chain of plugins? Right now I use RME's loopback feature to do this, for basic tape loop degradation.

Four years later and the grid still can't do 1 sample unit feedback for buiding phasers , karplus strong , filters etc .. Since the grid uses feedback that depends on the smallest audio buffers size , the feedback loop will always be filled with harmonic content defined by the buffer size , whcih is not what you want when you want to build stuff . SUch a shame they never implemented it , .. Another case that the grid is not as capable as reaktor or max msp . If they added some FFT , IIFT modules you could build your own spectral modules , but NO .. now they are charging money for spectral modules . Bitwig is a joke

>>> Propaganda destroys greedy people. The program is anachronistic, old DOS style. It is very heavy on quad-core processors. It does not use the super fast memory of graphics cards. Prices from space. This means that the company has a small manager. I do not recommend this program to musicians ! I recommend clear thinking ! Greetings from Poland
