People don't realize, that if you go far enough out into the wilderness, there are wild modulars, pretty much everywhere, and they aren't afraid of humans.

I wake up to this each morning at 7am, it is my phone alarm sound, each time I'm completely happy to spring out of bed and put the kettle on or lay there just enjoying the gorgeous textures of sound.

Let me guess... You're a white person? You make it seem like you need to make yourself "feel" happy but for what? This is literally hipster, media propaganda fed hand me down dumb shit. I don't know how to explain it but the only thing I can say is the way you people act is ridiculous.

Many years ago, when I was a younger man, I climbed to the top of Mount Shasta. As you climb above the tree line, the environment becomes more alien and gives you strange feelings, that you never had before. This music video, brings me back to that time, and the feelings I had there. Beautiful. Thanks for rekindling my fond memories of that journey.

You know... watching your outdoor videos were the very inspiration for me to grab some gear and try it myself. It took me a year to actually jump into the unknown, but once in the deep, never bailing out. Learning by making mistakes, embracing all these small unplanned but wonderful musical surprises while fiddling knobs in nature. I especially got to appreciate being under or near trees. My next trip is going to be full-on ambient bliss... and you made me do it 😘Thanks and have an wonderful EPIC day! Greetings from The Netherlands. Nicolas

So cool to see/hear synth in the woods. Well done, thanks for sharing. I also love to take my keyboards and other musical instruments to nature places. Being sensitive to my surroundings, they influence my playing, and become part of the performance. Happy Trails.....

Great stuff! The background is like a hugely scaled up version of where I live, on the shores of Llyn Crafnant, "The valley of wild garlic" in Wales. Your music moves in the slow way that light shifts over mountains and is the perfect accompaniment to such scenery. I really am going to have to get some MI modules; I heard an interview with the man behind the soldering iron (classy French guy whose name escapes me) and loved his ethics and how he let them dictate his business model, and it's even more sweet to hear just how good his products can sound.

The sounds and textures make me imagine being in the wilds of north america, perhaps in a mountain or not unlike a place where this video is taken. Being there early on a crisp cool morning and seeing the sun rise up slowly from the horizon, the rays of brilliant light shooting through gaps in the clouds bathing the landscape in a warm orange glow. Towards the end, it makes me think of the sun nearing the peak of its rise. The clouds are gone, and everything is illuminated equally under the midday sun.

Very nice. Just subbed. That one was very reminiscent of Boards of Canada a bit there very nice. Just in the process of teaching myself how to wright electronic music, again. I know this sounds a bit daft but i finally figured out how to us my track automation. (self taught.) Watching some modular synth ppl's. really helped me realized how to do some basic shit that I was missing and it blew my mind. Anyways I like your style. Simplicity nurtures complexity. Modular synth the birth mother of electronic music. :)

How do you like the ZVEW Lofi Junky? I have an effect pedal made/designed by a former ZVEX employee who designed the Lofi Junky while working at ZVEX, the Chase Bliss Audio Warped Vinyl. Always thought it would be a killer thing to adapt into a euro module, the pedal has so much control over the parameters which would be a dream to have them all CV controllable. Naturally I was excited to find out about the ZVEX modules, That’s going on my wish list for sure. Also I must say the backdrops for these videos are epicly beautiful and really mess well with the feel of your tracks. The Pacifc Northwest sure is beautiful.

Now I just have to figure out if it's a big coincidence that i'm also in pdx, or if the youtube algorithm has determined my location and is sending me videos from local people. Have you ever been to control voltage on Mississippi street?
