Just wanted to say how freaking beautiful this track is. I listen to it all the time still.

I keep returning to this video, and especially the first part. It is hands down the purest synth sound I've ever heard. It is so amazingly powerful and pronounced. It is perfectly balanced, and blows me away. If I move into modular synths, this video will be sole reason why.

still one of my favorite modular videos after all these years

This kid is the best of the on the roof guys because of his minimalistic approach to his rig.with just an Atlantis module and two korg sequencers he proves it's not how many modules you can cram into a case (to impress the girls in college) it's what you do with what you have and if you can connect with more that just patch cables ....peace christo

Keep coming back to this again and again. The raw beauty of that synth sound with really minimal effects and the way you play with it just enough for it to shift evocatively. That with the setting, just 👨🍳

This is the best of Modular on the roof so far… very nice sound, very simple and very efficient… The simplest harmony and the simplest rhythm are the most natural way to satisfy the ear… Bravo!!!

Weird, I hadn't noticed that "Modular on the Roof" was a Nick Kwas series. This video is one of my favorites because the sounds make me feel like I am swimming in the sky.

this is still an extremely pleasing performance. I am still impressed of what you are able to achieve with a small setup like this!

Love this series! you have inspired me to put together a small rig and take it outside!! thank you. Question, for these videos could you not record the audio directly to one of the DSLR cameras via the proper adaptor?? Just thinking about how to make the recording process simpler if one were to do this in the great outdoors...

Nick.. do you know how many times I've listened to this music? Way too many to confess 😂 But this makes me feel, so happy, so calm, so.. just far away from everything else (bad stuff). I really love this one! Your other tracks are nice as well, but this is my favourite. Just wondering, with the synth being "hard" to reproduce, do you think you could reproduce this music today, 5 years later? Not that I'm asking you to or that you need to in any way, I'm just wondering if you "can"?
