It's really cool that they are exploring more lighting options. I personally like the pure white light. However, this might mean even more lighting options in the future. So awesome that they reached out to you for the prototype testing. Thanks for the great video Graeme.

I think the color variation is good, though I would probably like the lights to have a stronger max output.

Wow they're getting into a whole new level, great job @moduspace, thanks for the video! I prefer to add two separate lights RGB and warm/cool lights so you have the flexibility. Also positioning in different areas to immerse your figures works well.

A proper lighting is very important to highlight the collection and give a more immersive feeling about it. Cables must be invisible, and the control of the light complete. This is the way!

I am literally waiting to pull the trigger on these when they come out with this as an option on all the lighting kits. Or even just the dimmer they have on the Mono for the SIXTH

Not bad. I do wish the pure white setting matched the standard pure white though.

I agree. Hopefully in the near future they are able to match that. Would be awesome!

I may look into some lighting down the road. Right now I’m just putting my figures in direct sunlight to get that bright light look. For real though, great review and appreciate your honest and thorough opinion!

If you can remove the lens on the light bar it might give you a better idea of what it would look like if it were brighter
@thejediknightswatch10 ай бұрын
True, however removing the diffuser could lead to a more spotty light. I might try it though

This is what I’ve been waiting for wasn’t expecting them to be that dim for the white light options surprised it didn’t come with the pure white if they add that make the connectors a bit slimmer although now that I think of that it would make the basic pure white light options obsolete so hopefully they can find a middle ground for everyone besides that the RGB’s are a total game changer i think it markets better for people that want there cases in a “stand by mode” so to speak but having the option to change colors is always welcoming great video bro keep us posted on the improvements! 🙏🏽😎

Since I got my cases from Sideshow they came with the spot lights. Those were a non starter so I installed some rgb strips that have a remote control. Aside from showing people they can change colors I can't say I use them aside from the basic white. Thanks for the video

Describe the fact of how expensive they are those display cases and how long the wait you have to deal with I cannot deny the beautiful technology that they have when it comes to displaying your figures and vehicles those lights are pretty damn good were they really need to work on making a deal with hardware stores like Home Depot and loads or perhaps making a deal with Sideshow to sell their products there as well

Thanks for watching my friend. Sideshow, CollectorZown, SpecFiction, comic concepts and big bad toys store do sell moducases as well.

Great video man! Recently got into collecting and this would look sick. I was wondering if you could help me answer this. Regarding the DF120 weight capacity, do you know if it's capable of holding 3 resin figures that are like 1/4 or 1/6 scale. I highly doubt it but I'm not sure since I'm new to this. I could get the display cube enhancement but the cases are already expensive enough as it is.
@thejediknightswatch10 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! The DF120 has a max load of 33 lbs without the enhancement bar. Hope this helps!

I'm very interested in these, but my current Moducase lights are all tied to a non-WiFi switch...I wonder how the box will be able to handle being turned off from the plug? Having two systems isn't ideal, but if it makes my display that much cooler, I'll deal with it. Nice demonstration of these RGB lights!

Thanks for watching and commenting! I should have hooked it up to my remote switch to see, but I do believe they would turn on as they automatically came on when plugged in to the outlet.

That wiring is terrible. Why can't they make a strip for the whole length of the case sections? Moduspace lied about ramping up production, and people are paying top dollar for strips of extruded aluminum with thin plexi. They need to ramp up production, like they said they would, greatly reduce production times, lower price, and have manufacturing or warehousing in North America before I'd ever consider a purchase from them.
@thejediknightswatch10 ай бұрын
Fair enough about the lead times. I know Moduspace was trying to speed up production but there were some speed bumps along the way. I would say, don’t knock the product until you’ve actually tried it though. Everyone who has ordered cases loves them.
@shaynerism10 ай бұрын
@thejediknightswatch I've seen them in person. I was not impressed with the price/ value ratio. Great all in one solution though. My main gripe with a company like this is that if they have the demand, they need to get product out. It's not with waiting a year. I could build something better for less in a week.
@thejediknightswatch10 ай бұрын
@@shaynerism understandable, they aren’t for everyone. I know they are struggling with workforce like everyone else and it’s a small production team. But I completely understand the wait. I ordered 3 back half shelves in July and am still waiting lol.
