What most ppl dont realise alot of islands have that hip swing n that its just more present in East Poly Islands cos of the drum dance n that. Anyway Niueans have Samoan Tongan and Cook Island Ancestry... I did alot of koli Niue @ school when I lived in Nz. Was such Fun and im not even Niuean even got too got Niue lol Fakaaue lahi

+Ef E Yes it is similar to rarotongan but you see Niue was created by a mixture of Tongan, Samoan and Cook Island :) however this is a more contemporary form of niuean dancing.

The dance is too slow for the fast paced rarotongans.....and you should know Niue was settled by Tongans Samoans and Puka Puka (Cook Islands) a few hundred years ago,that is why Niue has all of the best of these other cultures........Niue and Cook Island are the only group that have a hair cutting ceremony.......
